SOCIAL FUNCTION:
DEfinition
Teks recount adalah teks yang menceritakan kepada

pembaca tentang satu cerita, tindakan atau aktivitas.

Tujuannya adalah untuk menghibur atau

menginformasikan pembaca. Kita juga dapat menyatakan

bahwa teks recount adalah teks yang menceritakan

kembali peristiwa atau pengalaman di masa lalu.


SOCIAL FUNCTION:
PURPOSE
Tujuan teks recount adalah untuk
menghibur/menghibur atau menginformasikan kepada
pembaca tentang pengalaman, cerita, tindakan atau
kegiatan yang terjadi di masa lampau

GENERIC

STRUCTURE
• Orientation.
Memberikan pembaca informasi latar belakang yang dibutuhkan untuk memahami teks,

seperti siapa yang terlibat, di mana itu terjadi, dan kapan itu terjadi.
• Events.
Serangkaian peristiwa, diurutkan dalam urutan kronologis.
• Re-orientation.
Komentar pribadi tentang peristiwa atau apa yang terjadi pada akhirnya.
