BDC CORPORATION
SDN BHD
Incorporated in Malaysia on 14 March 1983, BDC Corporation Sdn Bhd was formerly
known as Bright Decorama (M) Sdn Bhd, a retailer for interior soft furnishings founded
by Dato’ Yong Yoon Kooi. Under his guidance, the company sought out projects that
involved contract work specialising in flooring for the commercial sector. This led to
major business expansion which propelled the company’s conversion to BDC Corporation
Sdn Bhd at the beginning of August 1997.

Due to the company’s progressive success in specialised flooring products, particularly

vinyl flooring, BDC Corporation was awarded the Malaysia Sole Distributorship for
Armstrong Vinyl Flooring Products in April 2001 and is still the sole distributor to this day.

In addition, BDC Corporation is an expert in ceiling and drywall products. In 2012, BDC
collaborated with Knauf to bring in Aquapanel cement board system to Malaysia. In
conjunction with company's dynamic development, BDC started an exclusive partnership
with Daiken Ceilings from Japan in 2014.

Safety flooring
Armstrong’s extensive range of slip retardant safety floors provide
solutions to meet the demands of environments where varying
levels of slip resistance are required, from commercial and
fast food kitchens to bath and shower rooms. The best flooring
products for wet areas provide a non-slip surface for supreme
safety. Armstrong’s product range for wet areas offers embossed
and particle enhanced surfaces which aid slip-resistance, while
reducing aquaplaning. These “safety floors” can also be mixed
and matched with other resilient vinyl sheet lines for designs that
integrate both wet and dry areas.

CEILING
DAIKEN Ceilings are made from selected mineral rockwool
fibers and special binders. The mineral rockwool fibers are
uniformly interwoven with the unique wet-felting process
to form DAIKEN Ceilings. As DAIKEN Ceilings has porous
properties with a low specific gravity, they exhibit efficient
thermal insulation and sound absorption qualities, while
resisting sound transmission more effectively than glass
fibre products.

quality. It is guaranteed for 10 years against visible sagging with
tolerance up to 50oC and 99% relative humidity. Mineral fiber
acoustical board and tile with sag resistance is also suitable
for use in rooms without air conditioning or high humidity
environment.

With outstanding fire resistance and thermal insulation, and a

variety of installation systems, EXCELTONE MR series comes
in a diverse line-up of surface patterns, including the timeless
MD, MN, MC and the contemporary MLC designs. Perfect for

EXCELTONE DL Series

Walking on overly hard floors creates energy that moves upward

towards our muscles and tendons, causing them to vibrate.
This is caused by the impact of our heel with the floor. These
vibrations, with time, hurt our feet, legs, lower and upper back,
creating an excess of tension.
Too soft floors cause fatigue and aren´t easy to walk on. This can
be better understood when walking for 45 minutes straight
on soft sand.
