SCENE ONE

INT: TORI, ANDRE an CAT enter in through the top right of the
school. Presumably after a class around mid-day.

The group are walking down the stairs as TORI is talking to

them.

TORI:
No, no, no, no, you're not getting it.

The group turn to walk down the centre stair case into the
main hall.

TORI:
This is like the best chinese food
ever. I mean they have these egg rolls
that are so good-

CAT interrupts TORI with a gasp.

CAT:
One time, when I was little, I had an
egg roll with the most amaing sauce!

The group get to the bottom of the stairs and stand still.

CAT:
It was sweet but also kind of sour.

CAT looks to the ground trying to recall what the sauce was
called.

CAT:
Man, what was it called?

ANDRE looks at CAT looking some what snarky as CAT loosks off
to the distance still trying to remember its name.

ANDRE:
Sweet and sour sauce?

CAT looks up to ANDRE slowly.

CAT:
No.

ANDRE still looking at CAT becomes confused at CAT's

response.
 2.

ANDRE:
No?

BECK enters in from the left of the main hall searching for
the group. TORI facing him.

TORI:
Hey, Beck.

BECK:
Yeah, whats up?

TORI:
After school we're--

TORI drops her laptop whilst talking to BECK.

TORI:
Oh my God.

CAT and ANDRE look slightly concerned and confused. TORI

moves her hair out of her face.

TORI:
After school, we're going to this
insane Chinese restaurant I found
right up the street. Wanna come?

BECK starts to walk off screen infront of the group to the

right side of the hall.

BECK:
Maybe, If I can find Jade.

TORI, CAT and ANDRE all turn to look at BECK.

ANRE:
Where is she?

BECK turns back around and looks to face ANDRE. BECK sounds
slightly annoyed and agitated.

BECK:
I dont know. She blew off her last two
classes.

TORI responds back at BECK looking more happy than the

others.

TORI:
She's still mad?
 3.

BECK looks towards TORI with an exaggerated facial

expression.

BECK:
Oh yeah.

CAT looks towards BECK confused.

CAT:
Why is Jade mad?

BECK looks at CAT now looking exhausted and tired but still
slightly annoyed.

BECK:
Because you know that play she wrote,
Well wishes?

The group looking at beck agreeing with a nod. CAT's

expression being more exaggerated than the others.

BECK:
Well, she wanted to put it on here at
the school and they wont let her

ANDRE looks at BECK confused.

BECK:
Why not?

TORI looks up at the sky with a very happy, exaggerated

expression.

TORI:
The teachers think it's too weird and
disturbing.

SINJIN approaches from the back of the group and walking

round the group in a very airy way. SINJIN ends up behind
TORI's right side.

SINJIN:
What's wrong with weird and
disturbing.

SINJIN slowly moves very smoothly away creating distance

between him and TORI. TORI slowly turns her head looking
disturbed. They lock eyes and stare at each other. SINJIN
looks very assertively with.
