Check all warning signs. 3. Check, external damage, oil leakage, wheel stopper, cable connection and bolt tightness, etc. Grounding: a. Check that the transformer is provided with grounding provisions near the base on two opposite diagonal sides. b. Check that the transformer core and clamping structures are grounded outside the transformer tank at one point through a separate bushing ‘Check that the tap changer is off-load five (5) positions. Check that the tapping range is +5% in equal steps of 2.5%. Check the provision of padlocking facility at every tap position. Check that tap position indicator, with numbers easily legible from the operating position is provided. Check that the Tap position one (1) is referring to the position of highest primary voltage. Check the Neutral Grounding as per the approved design. Check oil level in upper side cable box and its oil level indicator or HV fuses (if applicable). Check all nameplates and labels of all devices and their information. Check the valves. 10, Ensure that the Transformer with a rating above 1000 KVA, tank is rigid with conservator & double float Buchholz relay with isolating valve. 1 Check that a magnetic type oil level indicator is provided to indicate cil level in the tank with alarm contact for low level. 12. Check the breather and the silica- gel Ensure that the breather is accessible for maintenance from ground level Check the color of the silica-gel (either blue or orange). 13, Check that the transformer is provided with a dial-type thermometer mounted in a suitable place as per design. Check the pressure relief device is mechanical seff-resetting type. 3.0 Electrical Test All criteria are referred to that mentioned in WI-NG-6460-002-021, Rev.01 Item Description Done Remarks Perform the frequency responses test. (Ifit is Factory tested). Perform the core insulation resistance test at 1 kV DC. Perform the Insulation Resistance Test and Polarization Index for all windings using 5 kV DC. Perform the measurement of winding resistance (DC) (at all taps) (winding temperature shall be recorded; winding resistance shall be referred to 75°C). As in Delta connection the resistance of individual winding shall be calculated with the following formula: Resistance Per Winding = 1.5 x Measured Value a Perform the measurement of no-load current (Excitation Current) from the primary side at each tap by applying 220 or 380 VAC on the HV terminal keeping the LV winding open. Perform the Ratio Test (all taps). Perform the vector group test at the normal tap. @ |rjo| Perform the Percentage Impedance (Short Circuit Impedance) test is at lower tap, normal tap and higher tap. Calibrate the oil temperature indicator by heating the sensor in the oil bath and check against standard thermometer. Perform the functional tests of : 10.1 Buchholz relay 10.2, Off Load Tap Changer 10.3, Oil Level alarm 10.4] Oil Temperature 10.5.| Pressure Relief Device (alarm/ trip) as per design 71. [Perform the Leak testing with pressure (tightness test) Perform the Oil Test. 42, _ [Prior to energization, the CONTRACTOR shall submit test report for insulation samples tested in an approved independent lab.
