LiNKS 2022 JUNIOR OFFICIAL

Eligibility Requirements

1. Participants must be 13-17 years old and a bonafide resident of Ilocos Norte;

2. Open for in-school youth and out-of-school youth; and

3. A participant who became part of the previous Junior Officials of Ilocos Norte
can still be part of the nomination for the same position for three consecutive
years as long as he/she is qualified and legible under the terms set in this
guideline.

Selection Guidelines

1. There will be 18 junior local positions to be opened for the search. (Please see
roster below under duties and responsibilities.)

2. Application of the interested young individuals shall be submitted to the office

of the local official they want to represent. (Please see application form and
directory below.)

3. Applications will undergo screening through the office of the local officials.
Selected applicant shall then be endorsed to the Ilocos Norte Youth
Development Office for his/her appointment. (Please see endorsement form
below.)

4. The Selection Committee shall then be in-charge for the appointment of the
qualified applicants.

4. The organizers reserve the right to modify, alter or amend the above-stated
rules or waive compliance therewith at their sole discretion if such steps are in
accordance with the purpose of the competition.

Duties and Responsibilities of Winning Junior Officials

2. The selected officials must wear appropriate attire during their time as Junior
officials.

3. A waiver must be certified by guardian/coach/parent for security purposes.

4. The selected junior officials will have the privilege to act as a local official
during the celebration of the Linggo ng Kabataang Sirib 2022.

5. Snacks and lunch will be provided during their stay at the Provincial Capitol.
Also a coaster will be provided for their travels if necessary and if on duty.

6. Shall undergo and complete trainings as approved by Ilocos Norte Youth

Development Office

Submission Guidelines

1. To join the competition, the participant must submit the following:

 Fully accomplished nomination form. (Available below);

 Copy of registrant’s valid ID (Front and Back) or photocopy of PSA Birth
Certificate.

 2. For online submission, softcopies of the above stated requirements must be
sent using the following format;

3. For personal submission, the above stated requirements should be in three

(3) copies. Deadline of application is on August 1, 2022 at 12:00 noon.

Each winner and selected junior officials of LiNKS 2022 Junior Officials will receive five
thousand pesos (Php 5,000.00).

Disclaimer: Outputs during the training will not be returned to the little officials and
little legislators as they become property of the Ilocos Norte Youth Development
Office (INYDO). It may be reprinted for brochures and other publication purposes.
Appropriate citations will be given to the authors.
