ANNUAL REPORT OF GLITZ FASHION SOCIETY: 2021

The year 2021 had been a remarkable year for the Glitz Fashion Society. The society had
achieved prestigious accolades in several competitions organized by various institutes in Delhi
and parts of India. It kickstarted in securing first position in the fashion show competition
‘Intrepido’ organized by Maharani College,followed by winning a second position in ‘A'La
Mode’,Lady Irwin College; first runner up in ‘La Haute Couture’ by Imperials of Akhilesh Das
Gupta Institute of Technology and Management; a special mention in ‘Spark 2021’ organized by
Motilal Nehru College. Glitz also won various competitions: ‘Vintache ’21’,Hansraj College;
‘Artist Campaign’ by Elevin; ‘Symaroh’, Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies; ‘Glitterati’,
Somaiya Institute of Management; ‘Campus Vogue’, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of
Commerce; ‘Galore’, Maitreyi college; ‘Panache’, Hindu College ;and, ‘Audaz’, Deshbandhu
College.

Besides winning in group competitions, Glitz won several individual competitions.Tanvi Purohit
stood first in ‘Glitz and Glamor’, Beauty Pageant organized by IIT Hyderabad as well as in
‘Noor’, an online Fashion Show organized by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College. She also won
the best female award in ‘Spark’21’. Ashween Kaur obtained the title of ‘Ms Emience’ in Ivogue
by Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, and also the title of ‘Ms Panache’ by Hindu
College. She stood second in ‘A'La Mode’, a styling competition organized by Lady Irwin
College. She went on to secure the second position in 'Styling Colours', a styling event
organized by Maharaja Surajmal Institute. Alisha Nagpal stood first in ‘Ethnopedia’ in SRCC
Kutumb, followed by third position in ‘Flair’, a styling competition organized by Satyawati
college. Adya Verma was crowned the title of ‘Ms Spark’ in the competition organized by
Bellisimo, Motilal Nehru College.

The backstage team members made the college proud by winning many competitions. Tavishi
Sharma bagged the second position in ‘Promenade’, a styling competition organized by Daulat
Ram College. Anoushka Banerjee secured the second position in ‘Zaina’, a Make-up
competition organized by Hindu College. Ananya Mehra was awarded the best garment in
‘Ivogue’. Tannu Sharma got the first position in One for all, a styling competition organized by
Motilal Nehru College. Ashween Kaur Malhotra obtained the title of 'Ms vintache 21', Hansraj
College. She also stood second in all for one styling competition organized by Motilal Nehru
College, and secured second position in ‘Showdown’ organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh
college. Alisha Nagpal stood first in ‘Unity in Diversity’ that was organized by New Delhi Institute
of Management, followed by a second position in Halloween styling competition, Kalindi
College. Ashween Kaur Malhotra won the first position in the same event. Anoushka Banerjee
secured the second position in Halloween makeup competition, and a runner up in ‘Reel Battle’,
Hansraj College. Tanvi Purohit got a consolation prize in ‘Artist Campaign’ by Elevin team, and
also a winner in ‘Reel Battle’, Hansraj College. She also stood second in ‘Mr & Ms Delhi’
organized by IIT Bombay. Lavanya Ludhiraja and Neha Haobam bagged the first and second
positions respectively in a modeling event organized by Delhi College of Arts & Commerce.

Shraddha Kulshrestha, Tannu Sharma, Tavishi Sharma and Ananya Mehra bagged the second
position in ‘Theme Walk’ organized by Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad
while Drishti Gupta and Menuka Chettri secured first position in ‘Fashion Fiesta’, followed by
Neha Haobam and Lavanya Budhiraja, who secured second position in the same event. They
also stood in the first position in ‘Twin Flames’ organized by Institute of Home Economics.
Manvi Srivastava got the title of the Best Model at Audaz organized by Deshbandhu College.
