CODE OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE

Glazed Doughnuts offers a Code of Ethics that covers a broad range of business

practices and procedures. It focuses on identifying, handling, and reporting ethical issues. This

Code of Conduct and Discipline serves as a guideline for making ethical decisions. Everyone at

Glazed Doughnut Shop is subject to our Code.

The Code of Conduct and Discipline reflects these values and illustrates how we can

demonstrate our commitment to integrity to one another on a daily basis. To achieve our goal of

becoming the world's most loved sweet treat brand, we must always strive to do the right thing.

Our goal is to secure our reputation, act with honesty and integrity, and ensure that every

location bearing our name is a pleasant place to work. The shop strives to create experiences that

astonish and delight customers. We are dedicated to doing so with unwavering integrity and

respect for individuals.

PART I. CONDUCT

Article I. Conduct for Glazed Doughnuts’ Manager

Section 1. The manager must be honest about the aspects when it comes to the

production and profits at all times.

Section 2. Expects their workers to take responsibility for their actions and overall

performance, and demand the same for themselves.

Section 3. The manager must perform their jobs with a high level on integrity and must

ensure the best type of supervisors to work for.


Section 4. Expected to be energetic and lead in areas of teamwork and motivation.

Section 5. Show their workers how jobs are best performed, monitor workers and offer

suggestions and tips.

Article II. Conduct for Glazed Doughnut Bakers

Section 1. Hygiene is very necessary.

Section 2. The bakers must be wearing the proper clothes when doing their work.

Section 3. Eating while preparing food is not allowed for the bakers.

Section 4. Using dangling jewelries while working is not allowed for the bakers.

Section 5. The bakers are not allowed to take home leftovers

Section 6. In ordering supplies, the bakers must inform the manager.

Article III. Conduct for Glazed Doughnuts’ Cashier

Section 1. The cashier must have a good customer service

Section 2. The cashier must have discipline and have a good management of money.

Section 3. The cashier must know how to appropriately approach customers with

complains

Section 4. The cashier should be attentive and familiar in the workplace

Section 5. The cashier must have pleased personality


Article IV. Conduct for Glazed Doughnuts’ Customer Service/ Server

Section 1. The server must provide the customers with a smile and always be courteous

and respectful.

Section 2. Let customers know how long it will take you to assist them.

Section 3. The server must always listen attentively, so you can understand exactly what

your customers’ needs from you.

Section 4. The server must treat the customer with respect and he/she must say "Thank

you" after every transaction.

Section 5. The server must wait patiently for the request of the customer

Section 6. The server must know every aspect of the product or service you are selling.

Article V. Conduct for Glazed Doughnuts Customers

Section 1. Customers shall ensure that they do not create chaos inside the shop.

Sections 2. Customer are not allowed to litter inside the shop if they didn’t purchase from

the menu.

Section 3. Customer are not allowed to engage in disruptive, disturbing behavior

including: loud conversation, profanity or rudeness.

Section 4. Customers are not allowed to take any animal inside the shop.
Section 5. Customers are not allowed to threaten, sexually harass, insults, harm or assault

an employee or other customers.

PART II. DISCIPLINE

Article VI. Ground for Disciplinary Action

Section 1. The major offenses are as follows:

a. Threats or acts of violence, especially if against employees or customers

b. Sexual harassment or assault, especially in the workplace

c. Fraud, including unauthorized use and misappropriation of funds

d. Misuse of alcohol or drunkenness whilst on duty

e. Theft, and

f. Discrimination

Section 2. Minor offenses are as follows:

a. Failure to carry out a reasonable, legal instruction within the time required.

b. Neglect of duty

c. Disrespect to other staff

d. Dishonesty

e. Failure to report sickness to the employer.

f. Late for duty, and

g. Petty negligence

Article VII. Penalty Schedule


Section 1. The penalty are as follows:

a. Oral warning

b. Written Notice

c. Suspension

d. Termination

Section 2. The penalty of oral warning shall be imposed to the following:

a. Minor offenses – first violation

Section 3. The penalty of written notice shall be imposed to the following:

a. Minor offenses – second violation

Section 4. The penalty of suspension shall be imposed to the following:

a. Major offenses – second violation

b. Minor offenses – third violation

Second 5. The penalty of termination shall be imposed to the following:

a. Major offenses – first violation

b. Minor offenses – fourth violation
