VVIP tree; Tension on the administration, even if one page is dropped

We have been hearing about the strict security provided to VVIPs in the country.

But there is one such tree in the country, for the protection of which millions of rupees are spent.

There is a tree in India for which 24 hours security guards are deployed.

This Bodhi tree is located on a hill near Sanchi Stupa in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh.

Surrounded by 15 feet high iron nets, this tree is very important.

Security guards are also always deployed around the nets.

But this is not an ordinary tree.

So this tree is part of the family of the Bodhi tree, under whose shade Lord Gautama Buddha
attained enlightenment.

At least Rs. 12 to 15 lakhs are spent every year for the protection of this tree.

Special tankers are called for watering the tree.

Care is taken to ensure that the tree does not get any kind of disease and from time to time forest
officials also come here to inspect the tree.

If you look at the history, you will find that the Sanchi Stupa in Raisen district was built by Emperor
Ashoka of the Mauryan dynasty.

There was a special purpose behind this.

He had started constructing such stupas to pay homage to Lord Buddha.
