Ans-1 AMAR UJALA NEWSPAPER

1. Amar Ujala is a Hindi-language daily newspaper published in

India. It has 21 editions in six states and two union territories
covering 179 districts.
2. It has a circulation of around two million copies. The 2017 Indian
Readership Survey reported that with 46.094 million it had the
4th-largest daily readership amongst newspapers in India.
3. It has a circulation of 26.75 lakh copies daily as per the latest
ABC Survey.
4. Amar Ujala was founded in Agra in 1948. In 1994, Amar Ujala,
along with another Hindi daily, shared nearly 70 per cent of the
Hindi newspaper readership in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
5. Amar Ujala sold 4.5 lakh copies through its five editions.
6. Amar Ujala publishes a daily 16- to 18-page issue, as well as
supplements focusing on matters such as careers, lifestyle,
entertainment and women.

 News 24 is a 24-hour Hindi news television channel owned by
B.A.G. Films and Media Limited. It was launched in 2007 and it is
free-to-air channel in India. News 24 changed its logo with a new
design.
 Promoted by Anurradha Prasad, sister of BJP minister Ravi
Shankar Prasad, along with her husband, Indian National
Congress politician Rajeev Shukla. Anuradha Prasad a Media
professional for over 20 years is currently the Chairperson &
managing director of the BAG films & Media, News 24.
 Some of the programs associated with Ms. Anuradha Prasad are
AAJ KI BAAT (a talk show aired on DD Metro), ROZANA (news
magazine on DD News Channel), ZAIKE KA SAFAR and RU-BA-
RU (on Zee TV), CHALTI KA NAAM ANTAKSHRI (on Star Plus),
KUMKUM- PYARA SA BANDHAN (on Star Plus) etc.
  For her immense contribution to Indian Television and Media Ms.
Anuradha has won accolades and awards over the years.
 She is holding a position as the President of Association of Radio
operators for India (AROI) and also, she is a member and
treasurer of NBA.
 She was a member of CII and FICCI Entertainment Committee.
She is on the board of Uttaranchal Film Development Council,
and is an executive member of Film Producers Guild of India.
 She has also been awarded with prestigious award “Pt. Haridutt
Sharma Award” in the field of Journalism, Writing and Social
Services and JP Loknayak Jayaprakash awards 2019 for sterling
merit, excellent performance in Journalism sector.Under Ms.
Prasad’s directions, the two major news and entertainment
channels i.e. News24 and E24 respectively have a great social
media presence.

 WHO- In this story, the West Bengal’s Cm said that Trimool
congress is opposing CAA
 WHAT- It is a protest against Citizenship Amendment Act till the
central government decides to withdraw CAA.
 WHERE- Mega rally in Kolkata
 WHEN- On Monday, December 16 will continue its protest
against the ruling party to oppose CAA.
 WHY- Citizenship Amendment Act and proposed implementation
of nation-wide National Register of Citizens (NRC)
 HOW- In a firing attack of words on the Bhartiya Janta Party i.e.
BJP.
