I. Objectives

III. Procedure
A. Routinary Activities

B. Motivation
The learners will be grouped into twos. Each group will provide sentences, and they will
identify the subject and verb used within 10 minutes of a given time.
C. Lesson Proper
Introduce to them the lesson about the subject-verb agreement by showing them a chart
of the different sentences with picture. Remember that the subject and the verb must agree in
number, even if the subject is complex or contains extra information. When in doubt, break down
the sentence to identify the subject.
For example:
D. Application
Each child will be given one sentence example and let him/her identify which subject and
verb are used and ask why they agreed with each other.
E. Generalization
Let students tell the class the sentence they have written in their paper and distinguish
between which is the subject and which is the verb they used. Guide the students with their
answers.
IV. Evaluation
Ask the learners to give one sentence and identify why the subject agrees with the verb.
On the other hand, the teacher will provide a quiz about the subject-verb agreement sending the
link of a Google form in a group chat.
V. Assignment
For their assignment, ask the learners to make 1–10 sentences using the correct subject-
verb agreement and underline the subject that agrees with the verb used. On the other hand, ask
the learners to make a short story with the correct use of subject-verb agreement.
