The keys are assigned digits and functions (s0e ilustraton). When a fault has occurred, the control panel will display a flashing fault report. ‘The fault report wil give information in plaintext regarding the existing faut and recommend the next step of action. A Attention: Do not use any caustic, solvent-based or abrasive cleaning agents or polishes. Please: = Switch the escalator off before cleaning. = Make sure no water or other quid penetrates to the inner parts of the escalator. ‘This wil avoid corrosion of components inside the escalator, ~ Plastic surfaces should be cleaned only with soapy water. Like any other place of technical equipment, this escalator requires: = proper operation, = regular checking by the operator, + regular maintenance and technical safety checks, ~ when necessary, repair withthe least possible delay. After extended operation the wear can ‘such as to affect the safely of the escalator. Correct adjustment of electromechanical and electronic subassemblies is important for their functioning and electrical safety. ‘ThyssenKrupp recommend that maintenance work Is carried out by Thyssenkrupp service engineers, Entering into a service contract with Thyssenkrupp will safeguard the value and safety of your escalator. This will ensure that all necessary maintenance work is cared out at regular intervals, including technical safety checks in the sense of preventative maintenance and necessary adjustments. Preventative maintenance is divided into safety check preventative maintenance and safely inspection preventative maintenance: Safety check preventative maintenance includes all work necessary forthe functionality and operational safety ofthe escalator. + Safety inspection preventative maintenance includes additionally the safety technical checks. It may be located on the upper left end of the escalator (on the outside, on the opposite side of the balustrade to the start-up key switch and the STOP buttor), on the upper right end of the escalator (on the inside) or in some cases, when requested by the ‘customer, inside the electrical cabinet [| OY AE) The key panel has the following main menus: - STATUS + CONTROL + CLOCK + SETTINGS AND MAINTENANCE The user can access all these menus by using a code, except forthe settings and maintenance menu which requires a special cade end the status menu which does not require any code. If*Intro® (enter) is pressed, the display will show the escalators status.
