Project Overview
As part of the requirements of the subject SDF104, we would like to propose a
management system as our software development project this semester. We will work on this
system for about 4 months, and as the semester ends, we will aim to defend this project to you.
Moreover, as technology keeps evolving, Team Jolly Code + 2 believes that we can provide a
customizable management system for any Barangay. Our main goal is to create a system that
will digitalize the data of a barangay, including the information about the community members,
and prevent data loss, which commonly happens when we misplace documents or papers. We
believe that in this way, Barangay officials will be able to keep track of the records in their
respective barangays easily. We will use a database to store the data in our system. This will be
beneficial for the Barangay officials as well as the people living there. This proposed Barangay
Management System is customizable so that any barangay who wishes to use our system will be
able to. To further explain the function of this system, take a look at the following lists.

i. Can edit Barangay Officials
ii. Can add or remove people with personal information/profile
iii. Can provide ready-to-print Certificate of Indigency and Barangay ID
iv. Can add blotter cases
v. Barangay ID with QR code that will redirect them to their profile

These are just the starting plans of the team, and we hope that we will be able to expand
our ideas more as time goes by. Upon approval, we will work on the remaining parts of this
proposal. Furthermore, we would love to hear suggestions from you.
