Summary
This system is intended to help residents in Sta Rita Kaarsada
Batangas City easily find and accumulate researches. This will help to
reduce the number of robberies in this area for their safety which has
made it possible to carry out the project. The project is embedded with
various features such as automatic compilation of researches by
adding thesis information and once they have compiled the
researches, they can search the title of the researches for easy find
the research they want. As it turns out, the project is worthwhile in
terms of time consumption.
Therefore, it was suggested that the system could also be added to
the library to assist students in their current research studies.

CHAPTER I
THE PROBLEM
Background of the Study
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is the use of video cameras to
transmit a signal to a specific place, on limited set of monitors. It
differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly
transmitted, though it may employ point to point (P2P), point to
multipoint, or mesh wireless links.
According to (ACCL 2019) CCTV stands for Closed-Circuit
Television. It is a closed-circuit system because the signal is not openly
transmitted as it with broadcast television. The video cameras transmit
the footage back to a set number of monitors. Television in CCTV is the
video camera which acts as the telecommunication medium which
transmits moving images to the surveillance monitors.
According to Wilkinson, (2010) the surveillance images created
by video surveillance are visual and shape our understandings and
engagement with crime, control, and social order.
Ashby, (2017) added that there has been extensive research on
the value of closed-circuit television for preventing crime, but little on
its value as an investigative tool. Although this research was limited to

offences on railways, it appears that CCTV is a powerful investigative
tool for many types of crime. The usefulness of CCTV is limited by
several factors, most notably the number of public areas not covered.
Several recommendations for increasing the usefulness of CCTV are
discussed.
An updated systematic review and meta‐analysis of the effects
of closed‐circuit television (CCTV) surveillance cameras on crime was
undertaken. The findings shown that CCTV is associated with a
significant and modest decrease in crime. The results of the analysis
also demonstrated evidence of significant crime reductions within
other settings, particularly residential areas. CCTV schemes
incorporating active monitoring generated larger effect sizes than did
passive systems. (Piza, 2019)
The reasons why CCTV will be installed in some households is
because they are comfortable with no thief in it. Because they do not
know and can guarantee that theft can still happen. It will also help
them to reduce the thefts or crimes occurring locally. It is also for the
security of their family and also to know what is happening around
them or inside their home

The reason why we conduct our study was to prove the
usefulness of surveillance cameras. This prevent has been prove to
be effective in resolve crime. It will also be an opportunity for the
researchers to maximized their expertise and experiences on
Electrical Installation and Maintenance Students. The purpose of the
study is to install a CCTV camera in a home that can supplement the
manual method of gathering research. Researchers aim to be of great
help in providing efficiency, confidentiality and accuracy.
Objective of the study
The study primarily focused on installing Closed Circuit
Television (CCTV) in Sta Rita Karsada, Batangas City using the
resources that are locally accessible and available
Specifically, it aims to achieve the following objectives:
1. To utilize the following locally available materials in
installing the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) in one selected
household in Sta. Rita Karsada, Batangas City.

Significance of the study
The results of this study will be beneficial to the electricians,
households, present and future researchers.
To the Households, this study will help to secure the safety in
their home. It also helps to know what's going on around their house,
also to encourage them to secure their preparation by installing CCTV.
To the Electricians, this study will inform them to expand their
knowledge in how to install CCTV properly, It can help them to learn
more about the importance of CCTV.
To the Present Researchers, this study will provide information
on developing fast CCTV installation and ensure that it is properly
configured. Additionally, this study can help to expand their knowledge.

To the Future Researchers, this study will give them a data
information about CCTV, It can give a more a lot of information to the
future researchers and these serve as the basis of enhancing the
literatures of their study.
Scope, Limitation and Delimitation
This study focused on the installation of security system of the
households by having a defense security system using Closed Circuit
Television.
The closed-circuit TV, better known as CCTV, has a network of
cameras and recording equipment that are all directly linked. The scope
of our study was to apply the proper process of installing CCTV in
selected with hope that home. It will also help reduce thefts and other
cases.
The limitation of the study was that the researchers chose only
one (1) house to be installed CCTV. The knowledge and expertise of
researchers was also its limitation.
Furthermore, it was delimitated to CCTV connections as requested
by the home communication owner. No other communication like internet
and TV cables and included.

CHAPTER II
REVIEW OF LITERATURE
The chapter includes the review of related and study which the
researchers have perused to shed light on the topic under study.
Conceptual Literature
This study literature is to tackled about installing a CCTV in
homes in different concept, understanding, and ideas, this will provide
information that will help an individual to learn more about installing a
(CCTV) Closed Circuit Television in selected households. In addition,
the study is researching on the types of measures and security
around them. It will also help in the monitoring and prevention of
crime are major concerns in any public location.
Closed Circuit Television. CCTV, Closed Circuit Television is
the use of video cameras for surveillance purposes. Although usually
associated with bank, airports and other areas in reality the use of
CCTV has become far more widespread, While it is valuable tool in
the fight against crime, many people are uncomfortable privacy.
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV),also known as a video surveillance,
is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal in a specific place, on
a limited set of monitors. (Garcia, 2013)

As stated by Escabel, (2009) emphasize that crime prevention is
reducing the risk of being a victim. In order to accomplish this
effectively, it is important to remove opportunities for a criminal take
advantage of the properties. A person is attempting to prevent a
victim or criminal by presenting an unattractive target to the criminal.
According to Escabel, (2010), The crime prevention is a primary
goal of the police by definition, it is anticipation, The recognition and
the appraisal of a crime risk and the initiation of action to remove or
reduce it. In order for a crime to be committed, There must be three
factors: The desire to commit the crime: The ability to commit the
crime: And the opportunity to commit the crime. All these factors must
be present in order for a crime to be committed. If one of these
factors is eliminated, then they have prevented the crime from
happening. If they take away criminal opportunities to commit a crime
or their desire or intension committing crime, the they have just
prevented crime.
Technological Standards. As mentioned by Dela Cruz (2014)
The principal key to make this security standard relevant is to ensure
that there is a continuing initiative or program to monitor the activity of
each functional framework, maintenance and validation of the on-

going effort review and consistent testing as well as reinforcement
training in order that process, manpower and technology will form
connectivity and complementary actions to serve its objective.
The CCTV or video surveillance system must be capable
delineating on playback the activity and the physical features of
persons and places within the premises and must be able to record
such images on digital, optical and magnetic media. (Provincial
Ordinance No.001, 2013)
According to Escabel, (2010) CCTV may direct security
personnel to locations where precursors to offending have been
detected, which may head off their translation into crime and reduce
the severity of harm. CCTV could symbolize efforts to take crime
seriously and the perception of those efforts may both energize law
abiding citizens and deter crime. The presence of CCTV may include
people to take elementary precautions for fear that they will be shared
by being shown on CCTV.
Usefulness of CCTV Cameras. CCTV system may also have
some unintended consequences instead of reduction in offense,
offender react by moving their offending to a place out of sight of the
CCTV cameras. It may also force the criminal paternity to be more

imaginative and to diversify operation . A second concern is the
possibility of a negative public response to the camera existence. In
one survey one third of respondents felt that one purpose of cctv was
to spy on people. Most citizen felt safe under watchful eye of the
cameras, But CCTV have reverse effect on some people the third
unintended consequences is the possibility that there will be an
increase in recorded crime for some crime types. Many offense have
low reporting rates, especially minor acts of violence, graffiti and drug
offenses CCTV operator are better placed to spot these offenses and
this can actually drive up their recorded crime figure, as happened
with narcotic offenses.
By having CCTV cameras in the workplace, crimes such as
robbery can trimmed down. This is when a shop is attacked by
thieves, The clips taken by these cameras serve as a source of
evidence to help the thieves to be traced. To illustrate this further, In
Malaysia policemen used the videos captured by the cctv cameras to
trace and successfully catch. The group of robbers who broke in to a
seven eleven shop during the midnight. Not only that. As the
employees know that the under constant surveillance, They will less
likely steal from the shops. Thus, it is clear that CCTV's must be put
in all workplace so crime rates can be minimized. (Escabel, 2010)
As stated by Laxa, (2013) CCTV can be used as detection
device to trigger alarms under the certain circumstances, much like
volumetric alarms, where motion detection is desirable.
Advantages of Installing CCTV Cameras. As mentioned by
Baes, (2015) the use of CCTV surveillance system is advantageous
in a lot areas over the past years. It is actually noticeable that many
establishment have this technology installed for various purpose.
CCTV system can prove vital to overall security operations, to provide
a reliable system far monitoring and determining crimes an as well to
safeguard the well-being of staffs and students.
CCTV cameras security system is very helpful in protecting
house and other things which are of high value due to the fact that it
monitors and records everything within it perimeter. More over, aside
from checking the ongoing process the previous recording can also
be browsed easily. (Baes, 2015)
Advantages are that one individual can monitor several CCTV
camera locations simultaneously. The image is visual conveys much
more information than other types of alarms. This system is often

used in conjunctions with a date-time generator, which can project a
continuous image of the date and time in the corner of the monitor
screen. (Laxa, 2013)

CCTV, or Closed-Circuit Television, is a system that allows to
keep an eye on what is going on in and around the business.
Cameras and monitors enable to view events live, and recorders
archive footage for later reference. Do not mistake a CCTV monitor
for an ordinary television. It does not receive publicly broadcasted
content only footage from security cameras installed on the premises.

CCTV cameras are a controversial topic these days with privacy
issues always looming on the horizon. But controversial as it may be,
CCTV cameras have become a necessary requirement in every
business big or small. Though a necessary requirement for all
business it is especially important for a small business where
investment is small and risks are high. Small businesses are always
at risk due to their unorganized process and small systems which
excludes them from the organized systems of big firms or business.
The most effective way to do this is to install cameras within key
areas of the office or retail store. Although these systems are
installed as a precautionary measure against thieves and buglers,
they also work to increase the productivity of the employees.
Cameras can be installed in the middle of the room or at the corners.
Though the image they pick up depends on the quality and angle of
the camera. The sheer knowledge of knowing that cameras are
installed which can clearly depict their face and appearance keeping
watch over them can discourage would be offenders or criminals from

According to Li, (2019) the installation process varies according
to different types of video surveillance cameras and systems. The
battery-powered security camera is definitely the best choice, if they
like to get rid of messy cabling and drilling, especially when installing
cameras outside an apartment door/window (the outside is brick).

or computer. This will allow them to see exactly what is happening in
their home or business and decide whether it is a false alarm or if the
police need to be called. For many people who do not like leaving
their home unattended this can give extra peace of mind.
It is clear that CCTV is a great first line of defense against crime.
However it can and should be used in conjunction with other security
measures, such as a good burglar alarm, insurance approved door
and window locks and security lighting around their property.
As mentioned by Kille and Maximino (2014) millions of closed-
circuit television (CCTV) cameras are installed in streets and
businesses throughout the world with the stated goal of reducing
crime and increasing public safety. The United Kingdom is one of the
most enthusiastic proponents, with an estimated 1.9 million cameras
in 2011 one for every 32 U.K. residents and the number continues to
rise. Chicago reportedly has at least 15,000 cameras installed in one
of the largest U.S. networks which has prompted civil liberties groups
to express strong concerns while in New York, cameras are

increasingly found both on public transit as well as in businesses and
even high-end residences.
The 9/11 attacks led many municipalities to start installing CCTV
systems, but sometimes what’s put in place goes beyond the original
mandate: For example, Oakland, California, took $7 million of federal
money intended for safeguarding its port and is using it to create a
city wide surveillance system instead.
Detection rates in the absence of useful CCTV are higher for
violent crimes than for acquisitive crimes. This may be because for
violent offences there is always at least one witness (the victim)
present at the scene. However, the existence of useful CCTV remains
associated with significantly higher detection rates for all types of
assault, and for sexual offences.
While the availability of data from BTP made this study possible,
the use of data from a specialist police force may limit the general
disability of the results. The mix of crimes investigated by BTP is
likely to be different from that seen by local police forces. (Ashby,
2017)
According to Cuevas, (2016) As nations develop and their
economies grow bigger, social problems also intensify. One great

concern deals with peace and order as well as safety and security of the
people. Various psychologists would render different explanations to the
cases of crimes but what is apparent even to the most innocent
individual is that crimes are everywhere. Anyone can be a victim of
crime; which fosters fear to a lot of people. Knowing its responsibility,
the government of different nations have launched various innovations
on how to prevent crimes. One of these innovations is the use of CCTV.
Installing video surveillance system will help students focus on
their studies and not make them worry about outside violence. These
installation represent a huge amount of video to transmit, view and
archive, making it impossible for a human monitor to analyze all of these
video recordings in order to detect suspicious behavior or events. This is
specially true since security control centre personnel are also required to
manage other tasks, such as access control, issuance of
badge/keys/permits, handling emergency calls, following up on fire
alarms, radio communication control, etc.
The manufacturers of CCTV strongly suggest having a
uninterruptable power supply (UPS) to provide power during power
outages. This is easier said than done. We bought a 550 Watt APC
UPS, the largest available at our local computer store. It provides about
a half-hour of backup power for the system at night.

security for people who are using such technology. For instance, lots of
individuals prefer to live in buildings that have security cameras, which
made them more secure about their children, cars and all other belongs
against criminals and thefts. Second of all, it is irrefutable that
surveillance cameras lessen the crime level in a plethora of places.
Since, burglars and robbers think twice at least before doing any kind of
illegal activities in areas where CCTVs are existed. In addition, the
contrast, CCTVs also has some disadvantages for people.
To begin with, lack of privacy for individuals life. To illustrate,
many people claim that install security cameras in public areas destroy
their privet life. Furthermore, installing CCTVs in workplace might give a
sense of poor trust for staff. As, it let them to think that they are being
monitored and viewed, so they feel uncomfortable with that. Then, the
very high cost of the installation. As it's not a regular camera, It is indeed
a very sophisticated one, which connects with complicated severs and
works under different conditions. Therefore, it's too expensive for some
small shops and firms to have it. The last but not least, CCTVs will never
stop the crime to be happened. Since it is a camera which only detect
and record people's actions ,but will not halt any crime to be done like
alarms for example which's connected directly to police offices.
According to Li, (2019) the public security cameras can be used
as a way to keep an eye out for crimes. Additionally, public surveillance
does help with the investigation and protect us. There are no laws that
prohibit surveillance cameras in public places. And more than half of the
reviewed citizens think that cameras would not be an invasion of privacy
if they were put in places that are not private. Crimes can be deterred
before they even begin in some cases. If a suspicious individual or
individuals or items are seen in an area, the appropriate authorities can
be contacted to move into the area before any damage is done or any
crime is committed. Moreover, any people in the area can be cleared as
a precaution.
One of the most recent advancements in modern technology has
to be the creation of the CCTV camera system. There are many benefits
to CCTV technology, such as added security, in offices, houses, and
public places. But as with any piece of helpful technology, CCTV
camera systems have its own drawbacks, due to irresponsible usage. In
addition, If you’re thinking about installing a CCTV system in their home

or office, they might be thinking about weighing the pros and cons of a
CCTV camera. After all, there are a lot of valid concerns against a
CCTV system. Here we look at all the advantages and disadvantages of
a CCTV system, to guide them choice on whether to purchase one or
not. (Scivee 2018)
According to Bloom, (2018) CCTV's transmit video through a
closed circuit, meaning the video recorded cannot be transmitted to an
outside device. CCTV cameras, monitors and recorders all are directly
connected to provide immediate access to security footage. A CCTV
camera allows them to watch live streams of whatever the camera is
recording. The footage is sent also to a digital video recorder where it is
stored for later viewing. CCTV cameras are generally small and
unobtrusive. They can be placed anywhere on the exterior or interior of a
building. If you do not want the cameras to be obvious, they can get small
cameras that are easy to hide in plants or behind speakers.
Synthesis
The relation of the concepts and the similarities and differences
of the reviewed studies to the present study is presented herein.

the advantages of CCTV installation is to provide safety and security

of the people, it can be used to record and can be used as a way to
keep an eye out for crime and give them a feel safety security in
offices, houses and public places and giving them a security footage
in what is happening in their property.
On the contrary, Ashby mentioned that the use of data from a
specialist police force may limit the general disability of the results

After a careful analysis, we concluded that all CCTV can help a
household, they need to know the basic on how to install a CCTV,
installed correctly and safely in accordance with electrical regulations
and standards.
The uniqueness of the present study discussed about the
benefits and importance of having CCTV in household in Sta Rita,
Karsada Batangas City.
The study focused on the benefits and importance of installing
CCTV with manual set up in household. The main study was to help
them the main lesson is to help them be safe and to avoid being
robbed.
Conceptual Framework
This study focused on the benefits and importance of installing
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) with manual set-up on five selected
households. The main objective of the study was to install a CCTV
camera in Sta Rita Karsada, Batangas City manual set up that in.
Thereby avoiding theft or problem of homes in selected households
and providing useful information on understanding a closed-circuit
television and to reduce theft or problem.
In the input box the content includes the knowledge, skills and
ideas, Digital Video Recorder with Hard disk, CCTV camera, Cables
and wire, Liquid Crystal Display Monitor, Nonmetallic Raceway,
Manpower and Labor. On the second box, the process which wil
include the planning, conceptualizing, Layouting of Electrical
designing, Canvassing, Procurement, Testing and Final Testing. On
the output box is the installed CCTV in the home of the owner.

To provide clarification of the study, the following terms were
conceptually and operationally defined.
CCTV. An acronym for Closed Circuit Television. Originally this
was described as a system with cables directly from cameras to viewing
devices with no outside world connections. The Internet has changed all

home or building security system that monitors and records the activity
in a specific area. It is the project proposed in the study.
Installation. In many countries’ camera surveillance has become
common place, and ordinary citizen and consumers are increasingly
aware that they are under surveillance in everyday life. Camera
surveillance is typically perceived as the archetype of contemporary
surveillance technologies and process. (Doyle, Lippert and Lyon, 2013)
In this study it is the process of terminating cables and connecting it to
the dences in conforming with existing standards.
Digital Video Recorder. It is a modern replacement for analog
recorders that use videotapes. DVRs capture footage from analog

cameras in a digital format at the desired resolution and frames per
second. When the hard disk gets full, new images will record over the
oldest footage first.( Statesystem , 2019). In this study it is the dence
that saves the recorded the events capture in a specific time and place
Security. People are increasingly demanding high-tech home
security systems, and these systems are now more powerful and
affordable than ever, as well as, some must-have features to help you
choose a surveillance camera system that’s just right for their home.
( vivint Smart Home, 2019). In this study, it is the protection againts
thieves, illegal activity that is promoted by the use of CCTV to protect
the life and the property.

CHAPTER III
RESEARCH METHOD AND PROCEDURES
This chapter presents the methods and procedures for how to
build and operate the prototype installation of closed-Circuit
Television at Sta Rita Karsada, Batangas City, as well, and all the
reasons why they install CCTV and whether how can we facilitate
this.
Research Design
The stage presents the methodology conducted by the
researchers to produce the required output of the development of this
study along with the components of the design phase and financial
evaluation. Researchers collect all relevant sources of books,
journals, dictionaries, internet and other related materials considering
the subject's opinion. Researchers are aiming for simplicity and
simplicity, it will be a great help in knowing how the Closed-Circuit
Television can be organized and how to make it easier, Researchers
have come up with this project.
A design-oriented research design in capstone project was
utilized in this study. According to Verschuren and Hartog, 2015 a
design- oriented research design involves the identification of

problem with end in mind of providing a concrete solution (output)
which involves systematic process of designing and implementation.
A designing stages is usually formulated with six or more stages, and
for each of these stages operations, guidelines and criteria for
evaluation are defined. All this may be used for a considerable
improvement of the process and product of designing.
Development Stage
At this stage, the researchers considered the design and layout
of the project based on the field of technology, electronics and
electrical specialty. Researchers considered not only the technical
aspects of the project but also the suitability and importance of the
solution best used by the available resources and production
requirements of Closed-Circuit Television were also considered to
strengthen the process of doing so.
Pre- Design Stage
In this stage, researchers obtain data and information need to
come up with a good and installation of (CCTV) Closed Circuit
Television. The information was collected by browsing and reading 26
books, reviewing of past thesis and internet surfing,

Design stage
Preliminary set up of drafts and working design requirements for
the installation of Closed-Circuit Television were taken into
consideration, before coming up with design, gathering of data and
information were conducted. Net surfing was done to supplement the
data and information.
Conceptual, this was the first step this included analyzing the
given data to understand the facts that were available. I was more or
less a process of knowing the necessities and listing possible title for
the study.
Planning, Planning serve as a foundation of the project for it
played a vital role in making the system possible. It consisted of
identifying the title of the project through gathering information from
published and unpublished materials.
Construction, the constructing of the project is based on the
different references like books internet and other reading materials.
Testing. This stage is very significant part of project
development study. After constructing. The researchers the capability
and functionally of the system

Evaluation. This part determines the effectiveness of
functionally of the device, a series of evaluate test will be done the
project. The entire prototype will be tested and evaluated to be
acquainted with its functionality based on the expected output.
Knowledge and sight fabrication or the assembly of the
proposed project are needed. There are locally made materials for
easy and convenient purchasing.
Purchasing and canvassing refers to the process of knowing the
details of materials, tools and other related object to be used in the
development of the project. Selected materials and them analyzed
through different standards and specification as asked and required
by components.
Measurements involved the process of knowing the desired
dimension or sized of each part to be used in the project as specified
in the plan.
The fabric is considered as a housing assembly process along
with measuring and storing wire in volume and involves the use of
various tools. In the project assembly the following steps are followed:
preparation of materials, installation of materials, preliminary test,
result evaluation and final final test.

Testing and evaluation
This stage focused on testing and evaluation of the project. This
is very significant part of the project development study. After
constructing, the researchers the capability and functionality of the
system.
Evaluation is to check the capability and functionality and to
know the advantages and disadvantages of this project. The device
was trusted and evaluated if it is confirmed to expected output and if
the required user’s specification has been met

and evaluation
Table 1 describe the process of time allotment that the
researchers spent on making the project, starting on August and end
on April. This table shows that the researchers whave spent a lot a
time on testing and evaluating of functionality and safety of the
project.

DEVELOPMENT OF PROTOTYPE RESULT OF DISCUSSION
This chapter describes the analysis of data followed by a
discussion of the research findings. The findings relate to the research
questions that guided the study. Data were analyzed to identify, describe
and explore the installing a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).
Project Components and Function
Utilization of Materials Available.
It is a closed-circuit system because the signal is not openly
transmitted as it with broadcast television. The video cameras transmit
the footage back to a set number of monitors. Television in CCTV is the
video camera which acts as the telecommunication medium which
transmits moving images to the surveillance monitors. (ACCL, 2019).
CCTV systems are primarily used for security, monitoring and
surveillance purposes. In terms of security, CCTV can be used to
monitor both public and property security. For monitoring and
surveillance purposes, CCTV can be used to investigate or prevent
crime.

notice that DVR based security systems are priced lower than NVR

replaced the traditional cathode ray tube (CRT) monitors, which were
the previous standard and once were considered to have better picture
quality than early LCD variants. With the introduction of better LCD
technology and its continuous improvement, LCD is now the clear
leader over CRT, in terms of color and picture quality, not to mention
capabilities for large resolutions. Also, LCD monitors may be made

expressly for holding wires, cables or bus bars, with additional functions
as permitted in this Code. Raceways include, but are not limited to, rigid
metal conduit, rigid nonmetallic conduit, intermediate metal conduit,
liquid tight flexible conduit, flexible metallic tubing, flexible metal
conduit, electrical nonmetallic tubing, electrical metallic tubing, under

floor raceways, cellular concrete floor raceways, cellular metal floor

wires are insulated by a thermoplastic material; the grounding wire may
or may not be insulated. The wires are color-coded to guard against

connection errors. Neutral wires are white or gray, grounding wires are

A wire stripper is a portable handheld tool used by workers,
especially electricians, for removing the protective coating of an electric
wire in order to replace or repair the wire. It is also capable of stripping
the end portions of an electric wire in order to connect them to other
wires or to terminals. A wire stripper is often considered an important tool
for professional electricians and other related personnel. (Technopedia

tool designed to remove the protective covering off of a cable to expose
the inner wires. This is used to speed the stripping wire, place a wire
between the blade and the holder. Then rotate the stripper around the
cable until the cable rotates.
Flat nose pliers
The flat, tapered jaws of these pliers are used for gripping and
twisting metal, as well as twisting leads and wires. It’s a common tool in
both electrical and mechanical work. They can easily make sharp bends
and right angles with wire and also work well for straightening. Available

Screw Driver
There are several types of screwdriver heads that are commonly
needed for items around the house. There’s a good chance you already
own some or all of these. Once the most popular of all screwdriver types,
these screwdrivers have a chisel-shaped blade which spans the width of
a screw’s head. They often double as a chisel in emergencies, and can
also be sometimes used on a Phillips head screw. Known for being less
likely to round a slot than Phillips screwdrivers, the tip of these is

sometimes prone to slipping sideways out of a slot when a lot of pressure
is applied. For this reason, they’re not as popular among professionals as

and rotated while pressed against the target material. Drills are
commonly used in woodworking, metalworking, construction and do-it-

yourself projects. Specially designed drills are also used in medicine,
space missions and other applications. Drills are available with a wide
variety of performance characteristics, such as power and capacity.

you need to have a few guiding principles that will help you figure out
how to combine them. One of these is that the materials in which they are

SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This chapter presents the summary of findings, conclusions and
recommendations of the study based from the general data.
Summary
The purpose of the study was to designing an installation of
closed-circuit television in Sta Rita Karsada, Batangas. that can
improve the manual way of compiling researches. The research
intended to introduce the closed-circuit television (CCTV) for more
improvement of the compiling of the researches of the students.
This study aimed to improve the manual way of compiling
researches in the Faculty.
Particularly, the features of the system achieved the following
objectives:
1. To utilize the available equipment for making or installing a
Closed-Circuit Television in a house
2. To design and develop an Installation of Closed-Circuit
Television which will be capable of:
a. reducing time for finding and compiling students’
researches; and
b. providing a systematic way of compiling students
researches;
3. To integrate other features that may be added to enhance
the function of the developed Installation of a Closed-Circuit
Television of Senior High School Department for Sta Rita Karsada
Residents.
Findings
Based on the process undergone, the followings are the
findings of the study.
1. CCTV stands for Closed-Circuit Television. It is a closed-
circuit system because the signal is not openly transmitted as it with
broadcast television.
2. An updated systematic review and meta‐analysis of the
effects of closed‐circuit television (CCTV) surveillance cameras on
crime was undertaken.
3. There has been extensive research on the value of closed-
circuit television for preventing crime, but little on its value as an
investigative tool.
Conclusions
With the forgoing findings, the following conclusions were drawn:

1. The video cameras transmit the footage back to a set
number of monitors. Television in CCTV is the video camera which
acts as the telecommunication medium which transmits moving
images to the surveillance monitors.
2. The findings shown that CCTV is associated with a
significant and modest decrease in crime.
3. It appears that CCTV is a powerful investigative tool for
many types of crime. The usefulness of CCTV is limited by several
factors.
Recommendations
The findings and the conclusions paved the way of the following
recommendation.
1. The installation of a Closed-Circuit Television in Sta Rita
Karsada, Batangas may be implemented to provide safety and ease
of monitoring of the household.
2. Other researcher may look into other CCTV technologies
like those that are controlled through network and the internet.
3. A similar study may be developed by other researchers
who are planning to install CCTV to other locations, establishments
and structures.
