Entrance

An entrance is any path that allows access to a structure, such as an external


door.

Exit

Exit refers to the escape doorway or doors or entrances with accompanying


corridors and stairways that allow people to safely exit a room or place and enter a
street or even open public space. A continuous and unimpeded line of escape travel
from any point within a workplace to a location of safety is referred to as an exit route.

Road

A road is a linear channel for traffic to be transported that has an upgraded


surface for usage by cars (both motorized and non-motorized) and pedestrians. Roads,
unlike streets, serve primarily for transportation.

Parking

The act of relocating a vehicle into a parking space or along the side of the road.
It is the act of stopping, disengaging, and leaving a vehicle empty. Parking facilities are
available in certain buildings for the use of building occupants.

Pathway/Walkways

A path, sometimes known as a sidewalk, pavement, or footpath, is a route that


runs beside a road. It is usually made of concrete or asphalt and for pedestrians. A curb
usually separates from the traffic area. A median strip or road verge (a strip of
vegetation, grass, shrubs, trees, or a combination of these) may also be present
between the sidewalk and the highway or between the sidewalk and the border.

Fountain

A fountain is a structure that pours or jets water for drinking or ornamental


purposes. It is a beautiful reservoir that is utilized to discharge water. It is also a
structure that shoots water into the air for ornamental or dramatic purposes. Today,
fountains are utilized to embellish municipal parks and squares, to honor persons or
events, and for pleasure and entertainment.

Pool

A pool is often an artificial building that contains a big body of water designed for
swimming. It is sometimes referred to as a swimming pool, swimming bath, wading
pool, paddling pool, or simply a pool and is specifically intended to store water to
facilitate swimming or other leisure activities. Pools can be built into the ground or
above ground, as a separate structure, or as part of a larger structure.

Roundabout

A roundabout (traffic circle) is a circular crossroads or junction in which traffic


may only travel in one way around a central island, with priority given to traffic already in
the junction. Roundabouts are a better option than traffic lights and stop signs. This
increases traffic flow, is better for the environment, and makes pedestrians safer.

Landscape

A landscape is the visible elements of a piece of land, including its landforms and
how they interact with natural or man-made features and is generally evaluated in terms
of aesthetic appeal. A landscape is an area of land that can be seen. This comprises
landforms, plants, animals, and human factors such as human activities and the built
environment.

Pedestrian lane

A pedestrian crossing is a location where people can cross a road, street, or


avenue. It is a painted roadway where people can cross. They are part of a safety
system that allows people to cross streets safely. Both automobiles and pedestrians
utilize roadways in towns and cities. Traffic lights or other devices may be used to
control pedestrian crossings.
