1. PURPOSE :

To establish, implement and maintain a system for effective use of waste paper, plastic, stationary,
ink cartage, carbon paper and waste colon mixed with oil.

2. SCOPE :

All functional areas of Office, works and Site and of company

3. REFERENCES:

4. RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

Office Admin, Stores in-charge and Maintenance Engineer

5. PROCEDURE

1. Collect the waste paper, Plastic, Stationary, ink cartage, carbon paper from office and kept in
identified separate bin.
2. Collect the waste packing material, raping paper from store and kept in separately.
3. Collect waste from production area (Like empty chemical & paint jar, welding bush etc.) and
kept in separately.
4. After machine maintenance, all the cotton waste, mixed with oil and grease to be kept in the
identified bin.
5. All different waste to be separated as

a) Biodegradable Waste, b) Non-Biodegradable waste, c) Hazardous waste,

b) Biodegradable Waste and Non-biodegradable waste to be lifted in 7 days

c) Hazardous waste to be lifted once in 15 days by the Authorised Hazardous waste Lifting
Agency.

Associated Impact of deviation:

1. Health Hazard
2. Fire Hazard
3. Injuries to human being
4. Land contamination

Corrective action in case of deviation:

1. If deviation observed by WBPCB, appropriate suitable corrective action will be initiated

immediately.
2. Display board to be provided to create awareness.
3. Pressing of emergency alarm to vacate the area in case of fire or any emergency situation
arise.
4. Use of fire extinguisher and sand-bucket as per nature of accident and periodically check
5. Call fire & emergency services is required.
6. If spillage is found anywhere use saw dust to arrest the spreading of the spill.
