Clinical Manifestations

Myasthenia Gravis is characterized by fluctuating weakness in skeletal muscle, which are


muscles under our control or the vouluntary muscles and this weakness will increase when it is
active. The failure of muscles to contract normally occurs because hindi po sila
nakakapagrespond sa nerve impulses. Without proper transmission of the impulse, the
communication between nerve and muscle is blocked and weakness results and having
clinical manifestations involving

Diplopia and
Ptosis
(Drooping of
the eyelids)

Without Weakness of the muscles


Myasthenia Gravis of the face and throat
(bulbar symptoms)

 The ocular muscles the muscles that move the eyes and eyelids caused having the symptoms of
- Diplopia (double vision) and ptosis (drooping of the eyelids) are common (Bader et al., 2016)
