Nestlé Occupational Safety and Health Management System and Standards

Nestlé’s employees are our most valuable asset, and ensuring that everyone who works for Nestlé returns home
in the same condition in which they arrived is a fundamental Nestlé value. Occupational health is specifically
concerned with how a worker's health can affect his or her ability to do the job and how work and the work and
working environment can affect an employee's health.
All sites are required to identify and control significant and substantial risk factors that can impact safety and
contribute to ill health at work, advise employees on health issues and work with them to ensure high standards
of health and safety.

Nestlé Environmental Management System and Requirements (NEMS & NER)

Nestlé has been committed to environmentally sound businesses practices throughout the world since its early
days. The Nestlé Corporate Business Principles and The Nestlé Policy on the Environment commit the
Company to respect and comply with existing laws and regulations concerning the environment in local markets,
and to apply Nestlé internal standards suitable to local conditions in those regions where specific environmental
legislation is non-existent or insufficient. The Nestlé Environmental Management System, which includes
standards such as the Nestlé Environmental Requirements, is the principle means by which this is achieved.
