Company Overview.

Soleq is a builder operator and owner of solar power projects focusing on the Asian
market. It is focused on becoming Southeast Asia's largest independent solar power
producer. Soleq currently owns and operates 70% of 10 solar facilities totaling 91 MW in
Thailand. Soleq is also the Philippines largest solar power producer with about 193 MW
investment projects in Ilocos Norte, Negros Occidental ang Bukidnon. Soleq is the solar
power arm of Singapore-based Equis Funds Group Pte, Ltd, a leading private equity
group focused on energy and infrastructure in Asia.

Caring for the environment and being aware of climate change realities and issues is
very crucial for us, because taking care of the environment means that we’re caring
about human life too. It is necessary for a human to care about what is happening in the
environment, to prevent global warming, cities without water, droughts, endangered
animals, and earthquakes. It is also important to be aware of the climate change
because we humans are causing this issue because of the non stop pollution,
deforestation, and industrial activities, being aware of those thing causing it can help
prevent and protect our planet from getting destroyed. People must start giving the
environment the importance that it deserves, because our home need us to protect it,
We have done enough damage to our planet already and we need to do whatever we
can to revert it. We have to save it from total disaster by taking immediate measures to
prevent further gas emissions and global warming.
2. Solar power is one of the renewable energy sources that should be taken
advantage of, especially in the Philippines, as it is in abundant supply throughout
the year. Why does Soleq invest so much money and infrastructure in solar
 power projects? What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of
solar power? Do you think solar energy business will be profitable for Soleq in
the long run?
I think that soleq invest in solar power because it help fight climate change will save
money over time because it’s a cost-effective way to produce clean and renewable
energy, domestically and sustainably. I think that advantage of solar power it is
renewable energy source and can be harnessed in all areas of the world, and it is Low
Maintenance Costs and You only need to keep them relatively clean, The
disadvantages of using solar power is that Associated with Pollution and it Uses a Lot of
Space. I think that solar energy business will be profitable, Solar energy is a money
making mechanism that has received a lot of attention and ‘love’ in recent times, a lot of
people would want to invest their money and buy a solar energy because of the
benefits of it, it uses a renewable energy and also great equipment to our environment
and a tool for the development of our country, it is worth it buying, people would want to
spend their to a worth things like a solar energy, it is also the reason why I think it can
survive in long run and will be a profitable business.
