I am staying at the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, one of not-to-be-
missed locations when visiting it. I am standing in front of the
Independence Palace, or called the Reunification Palace, which is a construction with a unique and magnificent architecture. I see a long line / queue of tourists who are waiting to buy entrance tickets while a lot of visitors are strolling around inside, and a large group of tourists are assembling (tập hợp) / gathering to wait for the guide. Under tall trees in the park opposite the Palace, many young people are sitting on benches here and there while eating rice paper salad and chatting cheerfully. In middle of the area is located the Notre Dame Cathedral where two couples are taking wedding photos on the exterior. Across from this catheral is a fountain in a round shape commonly known as Turtle Lake. It is a popular destination of locals /the city-dwellers, so now many couples and families are gathering to enjoy the fresh air and see the flow of vehicles passing by.
