Speech
Túrin speaks with much pride but in times of hardship that pride will turn straight into a sadness so
overwhelming his eyes fills with tears and he starts sobbing:
‘Come!’ he said to Andróg- ‘We will return. But if you wish to bury your captain, you must do so yourself.
Make haste, for hue and cry may be raised. Bring his weapons!’
*He returns to the outlaw camp and hears the outlaws talking bad about the old captain*
‘Then choose a new captain’ said Túrin, standing before them. ‘Forweg can lead you no longer, for he is dead.’
‘How do you know that?’ Said Ulrad. ‘Did you seek honey from the same hive? Did the bees sting him?’
‘No,’ said Túrin. ‘One sting was enough. I slew him. But I spared Andróg, and he will soon return.’
‘Yes,’ said Morwen, ‘over the Mountains, away south. South – that way some hope may lie. But I did not say
we, my son. You must go, but I must stay.’
‘I cannot go alone!’ said Túrin. ‘I will not leave you. Why should we not go together?’
Uncontrolled
Thoughts
Túrin has a fast and decisive mind, but his anger betrays him. Making him reckless, impatient, and
unpredictable, making him strain away from wisdom and facts and give into his flawed human traits.
(Example is pg. 84 – 85, The conversation between Túrin and Thingol and Melian)
Effects
Túrin like his father before him is an amazing warrior and leader. Showing great knowledge on the
battlefield as well as managing to lead even the most dishonourable kinds of warriors, like his band of
outlaws.
Actions
As all do his actions and decisions are affected by the people around him but he still sometimes has
flashbacks to his true self. The man that wants to restore his family name and defeat Morgoth, while
protecting all the good people of middle earth.
Looks
Túrin was tall and strong like his father, but with the eyes of his mother. Bearing the Dragon-Helm of
Dor-lómin, as a gold crown atop his head and an elven chainmail under his cloak.
