IMO Class 5 2015 Question Paper

The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts the International

Mathematics Olympiad which is a mathematics-based competition held each
year for students to build a underpinning for mathematics for higher classes.
IMO aids in bettering the student’s solving potentiality and analytical thinking
by demanding them with questions of high order thinking. This makes the
students ready for future competitive exams.
The Olympiad held for students of Class 1 to 12 focuses to support and identify
students who desire of becoming future scientists or technologists. Students
from across the country or world are made to compete through IMO.
Mathematical skills of students can be judged through IMO. Students get an
idea of their academic growth through the results of the IMO. A detailed
analysis of the student’s performance is given in a report called A Student
Performance Report (SPR) after participating in the Olympiad.
SOF is an educational organisation and the organiser of IMO that is involved in
the academic development of students. The foundation puts in order a number
of national and international Olympiads including National Science Olympiad
(NSO), National Cyber Olympiad (NCO), International English Olympiad (IEO),
International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), International General Knowledge
Olympiad (IGKO). And International Company Secretaries Olympiad (ICSO). The
SOF has been striving to promote scientific attitude through innovative
activities, for over two decades, involving students from across the country.

The capability of all students is identified through the International Maths

Olympiad Class 5. This exam is constructed on the consistent school board plan
that incorporates corelated questions based on subjects studied in the school.
This exam is the best way to make the routine of using unique methods.
Students of Class 5 can test their learning and improvise on their knowledge.
Students will be able to apply the analytical skills learned to solved these
questions, in all other organized competitive exams.

students.
Mathematical Reasoning - This section tests the understanding of calculative
powers and mathematical concepts of the students. The questions of this
section is said to be time consuming and calculative.
Everyday Mathematics – This section confronts the students thinking ability
with questions of general management and amalgamation of everyday
situations.
Achiever’s section – This section tests the students with questions from a lot
of different concepts and topics.

International Olympiad Workbooks:

every year. Students develop an interest in the subject which in turn helps
them to develop their subject learning. Students are made thorough in the
subject. Students have to solve questions based on relations, patterns, series,
colours, and more other logical parameters. It gives an explanation of both
sides of the growing brain. In order to increase the confidence in students to
perform well giving them exposure to a competing atmosphere is vital.
Practice Tests -
International Mathematics Olympiad Class 5 gives a chance to the students
who own the strength to solve problems. The Practice test series are organized
openly for the students representing in competitive exams. Experts in Maths
took care of the content while constructing making it easy to understand. The
Practise test comprises of answer keys to the concepts. Students can become
familiar to the topics and score well in their final exams by practicing the
