Title

Voltage Current Resistance Lab

Purpose

To determine the mathematical relationship (i.e., equation) relating the voltage, current and
resistance in a simple circuit.

Conclusion

The relationship between Voltage, Current and Resistance forms the basis of Ohm’s law. In a simple


circuit of fixed resistance, as the voltage increases, the current also increases while when the voltage
decrease, the current also decreases. In a circuit where the voltage is fixed, the current would decrease
if the resistance increased and vice versa.
The current flow around a circuit is directly proportional to voltage but inversely proportional to
resistance.
