ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Provides timely and customer-focused service to new hires and internal customers that belong to the
category of Management, Specialty, and Marine positions.
 Ensures each new hire receives appropriate level of support and guidance to create an exemplary
onboarding experience.
 Ensure compliance to regulatory, local, and company policies to ensure safety and well-being of the crew,
colleagues, and guests.
 Liaises with Recruitment, Crew assist, Schedulers, Visa team, Port Agents, School, Authorized Referral
Sources, RCM and Hiring Managers when appropriate, to ensure hiring and scheduling needs are met in a
timely manner
 Provides back-up support fellow onboarding specialists and guidance to the onboarding associates by being
a consultant in terms of visa, medical, and STCW requirements of shipboard roles.
 Works diligently and proactively to resolve all onboarding related situations, escalates irregularities to the
Onboarding Supervisor; and continuously explores ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness
 Performs all administrative and documentation tasks related to the onboarding of shipboard employees
 Consistently meets the performance metrics set by the management team
 Prepares various reports as required, including, but not limited to, status reports, analysis, and lists of talent
pools including status updates to Stakeholders.
 Established monthly governance meetings with Recruitment, Scheduling, Mobility Centers, HR Onboard
and Stakeholders.
 Responsible for reporting and communicating any additional cost caused by any last-minute movements.
 Assist in the control of costs associated with crew movement travel expenses, such as transportation, airport
operations, port operations, hotel, visas, immigration process and other required travel documentation that
affects the department budget.

 Validates and monitors all new hire documents before they join the ship and ensures all information is being
updated in E1.

 Works diligently to resolve all onboarding related situations and escalates any irregularities to the Lead,
Talent Onboarding; consistently tries to increase efficiency and effectiveness
 Performs all administrative and documentation tasks related to the onboarding of shipboard employees.

pools.
