standards version 4.0 04/04/2022 From March 14 to 17, 2022, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry organized a training session to write a self-assessment report of the training program according to AUN-QA standards for 04 units with an assessment program in the coming year - 2023. The training took place online. Attending the training program were: Prof. Dr. Le Van Tan – Vice Rector of the University; Dr. Nguyen Huy Phuc – Head of Quality Assurance & Audit Department (AUN-QA Auditor); Dr. Nguyen Truong Sa – Associate Professor of Foreign Languages (AUN-QA Auditor); Dr. Do Khoa Thuy Kha – Deputy Head of the Department of Quality Assurance and Audit; Leaders and report writing teams of 4 units: Mechanical Technology, Information Technology, Electrical Technology and Institute of Biotechnology and Food. Objectives and output standards of the training session are to help officials and lecturers understand the requirements of the AUN-QA Program-level Quality Assessment Standards, version 4.0; distinguishing the changes of the AUN-QA program-level assessment standard version 4.0 compared to previous versions; understand the Standards' requirements for program evaluation; know how to build an internal quality assurance system to meet the requirements of the Standard and write a self-assessment report. At the training session, Dr. Nguyen Huy Phuc introduced the university-level AUN-QA 4.0 standard set including 8 standards and 53 criteria, arranged in three main groups: training programs, resources and outputs. This set of standards has a higher logic and requirements than the AUN-QA 3.0 standard set (11 standards and 50 criteria), in which special emphasis is placed on the Outcome Based Education element. ) including contents about Learning Outcomes; Constructive Alignment and Stakeholders. Standard 10 on quality improvement has also been incorporated into other standards.
