Product Overview
This is a software package designed for MS Windows (PC format) used to interpret events reported by control panels
to a digital receiver or modem and can be utilised by installation and monitoring service provider companies.
The MX-MON software is for use with a PC which is then connected to a digital receiver such as the Pyronix RC12
or RC112. If used with a receiver the MX-MON can receive Contact ID and 4+2 DTMF and pulse communication
protocols.
The software is also compatible with a simple voice type modem which can be installed in the PC and is supplied free
of charge with the software. Up to 2 modems can be used per PC. If used with a modem the MX-MON can receive
Pyronix PC protocol, the in-house designed communication format which is able to report the same events as
Contact ID.
Software
Each software pack which includes a CD Rom and a modem card, is protected with a dongle.
In conjunction with the MX-485 network, the MX-Mon software presents a cost effective solution to local alarm
monitoring. Both are perfect for use in apartment or office blocks where there is local monitoring. MX-MON
software is extremely flexible as the number of users is unlimited and therefore it can expand in line with your
business application requirements.
