TASK: Plot position on chart (Lat & Long), understand modern ships bridge equipments

AIMS:
1. To know how to plot position of ship on chart.
2. Chart work is the art of laying a safe course.
3. Fixing the position and reassuring that position, while steering.
4. Position fixing is the branch of navigation.

Requirements for performing the task:

1. Nautical Chart
2. Parallel Ruler
3. Pencil
4. Eraser
5. Divider
6. Compass

Precautions for performing the task:

 Using parallel ruler to locate the coordinates on the latitude scale.
 Place one edge of ruler on the on latitude coordinate.
 Slide the other edge until you hit your mark and draw a line to it.
 Repeat the same process for your longitude by using the longitude scale.
 The intersection of these lines is the position of ship on the chart.
