October Lunch Menu: The October lunch menu is included with Upcoming Events
this week’s newsletter. Please return them by the end of the month
Thursday, September 22
with your payment option. Mondays will switch between Taco Bell and
*Outdoor School (grades 5-6
Fazolis. Taco Bell, too, requires we place our orders the Friday
return for 3 pm pick up)
before our Monday pick up. You may want to take a picture of your *News Notes sent home
order form for your reference before returning it to the school.
Friday, September 23
Peach Tree Farms: The students in grades TK-4 are planning a *Chapel
field trip to Peach Tree Farms on Thursday, October 6. If you would *Pizza
like to attend, please talk to your child’s teacher.
Monday, September 26
Sterling Volunteers: Please complete the training & background *Volleyball 5-6 pm
check if you plan to attend field trips and/or help at school. Once *Fazolis
complete, the training and background check are good for three *Band
years. If you have any questions please contact the office. We Tuesday, September 27

*Piano Lessons
Volleyball: Practice resumes on Monday, September 26 from 5-6
pm. Thanks go to the parent volunteers who are helping. Wednesday, September 28
*Hot Lunch: pancakes
Education Sabbath: CPCA students will be leading out in the *Band
worship service on Sabbath (Saturday) October 1. The worship starts
Thursday, September 29
at 11 am and we ask that families arrive at church by 10:45. There is *Outdoor School (grades 5-6
programming for children and Bible study for adults starting at 10 am. return for 3 pm pick up)
*News Notes sent home
Grades 5-6 will lead praise music. Grades TK-K will play the bells.
Grades 1-4 will sing a song. Grades 7-8 will share a video and a skit. Friday, September 30
*Chapel
Following the service there will be a fellowship meal at the gym. *Pizza
Families are welcome to bring a vegetarian dish to share. Around Sabbath (Sat.), October 1
1pm there will be a school prayer walk led by our prayer ministries *Education Sabbath at 11

Bible Character Day: Our next school spirit day is on Monday, Thursday, October 6
October 31. The students are welcome to come to school dressed as *Peach Tree Farm Trip gr. TK-4
their favorite Bible character or an animal. Some suggestions include Tuesday, October 11
dressing up like a disciple, an angel, a Roman soldier, your favorite *End of First Quarter
Bible character, or an animal. *Noon Dismissal
Fall Break: First quarter ends on Tuesday, October 11. All work is Wed. to Fri., October 12-14
due by the end of the quarter unless prior arrangements have been *Fall Break - no school
made with the teacher. School will dismiss at noon on October 11 for Thursday, October 27
the start of Fall Break. Class will resume on Monday, October 17 for *Noon Dismissal
