Sight Adjustments Using Minutes of Angle
Sight Adjustments Using Minutes of Angle
Minutes
of
Angle
(MOA)
is
a
system
that
is
frequently
used
in
optical
rifle
sights.
MOA
is
a
unit
of
angle,
not
length.
The
distance
that
the
sights
move
the
zero
varies
depending
on
distance,
but
MOA
is
constant.
For
example,
¼
MOA
is
¼th
of
an
inch
PER
100
yards.
At
100
yards,
it
is
a
¼th
of
an
inch.
At
200
yards,
it
is
a
half
inch.
Here
are
the
values
for
the
most
common
sight
types.
I
also
included
1/3
MOA
as
it
is
used
for
adjustments
on
ACOGs.
