At the end of the one-hour session, the students are expected to:
a. discuss and explain the skill-related fitness
b. perform skill-related fitness components to interact with one another.
c. appreciate fitness as a part of one’s lifestyle and participate actively in class.

V. Assignment

3-minute step test (Instructional Video)

Reminder: wear proper PE attire (rubber shoes, jogging pants, and white shirt).
Purpose of the test: this is designed to measure a person’s aerobic fitness. 
Materials required: stopwatch and bench or box with 12 inches high
Procedure: (do not forget to stretch your legs)
1) Your body should be in normal condition (particularly the heart and lungs). 
2) The performer stands in front of the bench and at a given signal will start stepping up and
down on the bench. 
3) At the end of 3 minutes, pause for 5 seconds as rest period.
4) Count the pulse for 15 seconds and multiply it by 4.  
Scoring: the score is the pulse rate counted after 3-minute step test.
