As a student, how do you show your du es and responsibili es as a Filipino ci zen?

Student’s Answer:
Filipino students need to be able to do their duties and
responsibilities by remembering their mother tongue even out of their
home country, promoting Filipino culture, and participating in Filipino
activities. As a student, we always need to remember where we came
from and not forget the values of our origins. Language plays a heavy part
in the difference between countries. As Filipino, we need to be able to
speak or know the mother tongue because as time passes, future Filipinos
could forget it. Our language is a part of our culture, making us Filipino.
Our language connects us Filipinos; it helps us identify each other. Our
language is what ties us together as Filipinos.
Our next duty as Filipinos is to promote our cultural and Filipino
heritage in a foreign land. Promoting our Filipino heritage gives respect to
our ancestors. Our Filipino heritage is what makes us Filipinos. Our
heritage has been passed down to us from generation to generation, and
remembering our heritage gives us our Filipino character. Promoting our
cultural heritage in foreign land shows pride and loyalty to our home
country. So as Filipinos, we always need to promote and remember our
heritage to preserve it for future generations.
As Filipinos, we always need to be law-abiding citizens, even
if it is in a foreign country. We must set an example for future Filipinos
that we respect other countries. We always need to follow the law because
it can put a bad image on others, and following laws can show how true
Filipinos are. We must also be respectful of others' cultures because it is
the same with us; they are just trying to preserve their cultures. The law
keeps us in order; it makes our lives more peaceful. So as Filipinos, we
need to respect and follow the rules.
