Tell me about yourself.

I'm Rovie Lyn Evan, a 4th year student taking up Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting at
University of San Jose-Recoletos Cebu. I’m a flexible, fast-learner and forward-thinking individual who's
willing to work in a company that can further strengthen and prosper my competence. Interacting with
people and working with teams are what motivates as I am an outgoing and sociable person. I’ve
worked hard in my education and now I’m ready to apply my knowledge into practice.

Skills

To attain a common goal, my ability to communicate and relate well to others is certainly important for
collaboration.

What is your biggest strength?

I believe that my biggest strength is my ability to work under pressure and being a good listener. A good
listener makes me a good teammate and I’m always ready to hear opinions and suggestions or take in a
new point of view. Also, my strength is my attention to detail. I pride myself on my reputation for
following through and meeting deadlines.

What are your weaknesses?

I know that sometimes I can be slightly stubborn. Also, once I set a goal or make a decision, I can be
pretty much set on it and makes sure it gets done, and on time. This can help me make sure I get my
goals attained, but it can also make it harder for me to take feedback from others. It’s something that
I’m becoming more aware of and trying to improve upon.

Why did you choose our company?

As I have researched, this company aims to be the most recognized wedding organization worldwide
and also to protect the wedding industry by providing the most comprehensive trainings, seminars and
legal & health activities that makes the suppliers the most respected professionals. This company may
able me to experience the reality of work and the culture of the company instigates me as it gives us
interns a realistic exposure and experience in a workplace. I also discovered that your company really
values training and ongoing learning for your employees, and as someone who loves to learn new things
and be challenged, this is immensely significant to me.

What can you bring to our company?

As someone who’s just starting their career, I think I can bring a willingness to learn and try anything as
well as a fresh perspective. This is also a good opportunity for me to utilize and enhance my skills. As I
am applying for an accounting intern position, I should be responsible for assisting with research, filing,
data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records. Also, I ought to
prepare thoroughly the financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and
other documents. Thus, I want to be one of the responsible persons for the growth of the company.

Why do you want this internship?

I have some fresh ideas which might help the company's development and growth. If I will be employed,
I will do my best to benefit the company and add value to it. I would also like to learn and sharpen my
skills under the guidance of professionals working with your team.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

I’d start with dedicated since I always want to make sure I complete all my tasks, no matter what it
takes. Then I’d pick optimistic because I always want to find the bright side of situations or make people
laugh. Finally, I’d say outgoing because I love meeting new people and I want to try as many new things
as I can.

Out of all, why would we choose you?

I am a self-motivated person who is willing to go above and beyond on any project, and to learn valuable
skills on my own time. I believe that my technical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills make me the
right fit to take on the responsibilities that this internship offers. Also, I believe that my skill set can lead
to the growth of the organization and the employees around me.

What do you want to get out of this internship?

I want to get real-world professional experience more than anything. Also, I want to learn about how a
business works on both a large scale and on a day-to-day basis.
