INTEGRATED BUSINESS PRINCIPLES

Guidelines for Micro-Business Proposal:


1. A group of 3-5 students.
2. Must be currently enrolled in IBP.
3. Faculty Should be the one to facilitate the groupings.
4. Survey questionnaire to identify opportunity must be done.
5. The proposed Business must be approved by the faculty in-charge
6. A capitalization of not more than 10,000 must be strictly followed.
7. The proposal must be viable and realistic.
8. The proposal must have basis of market/customer demand (Should be based on
unmet needs).
9. A viable source of funds must be clearly identified.
10. Each given chapter must be submitted based on the week stated on the course
Syllabus.
11. Half of the MBP must be presented as Midterm exam.
12. Mock/consultation defense must be done
13. Final defense must be done.

Note: Discuss this final requirement to students on the first day of classes.

All papers should be submitted in Microsoft Word format and PDF.


Font should be Calibri size 11.
Margins should be 1 inch on all four sides.
Page number should be at the lower right part of the page.

Competitors Analysis
- Porter’s 5 Industry Framework
Marketing Strategy
- 4P’s (Product, Price, Place and Promotion)
Chapter 4 – Financials
- Develop a template for:
Daily Operations (Sales and expenses)
Daily Credits
- Fund Distribution/Allocation (you may develop a table or a diagram of fund
allocation and distribution).
- Basic Financial Statement
