1 Impact of TLS 1.2
1.1 Purpose of Document
The main purpose of this documents to enable the TLS 1.2 in the browser while connecting to WADS / SFG from Voyager
application OR manually downloading files by Voyager agent.
Tables of Windows Operating System compatible and non-compatible with TLS 1.2.
iii. Right click on the dot as marked in the below screenshot of Chrome Browser as
marked in the screenshot: Customize and Control Google Chrome
vi. Scroll down to the Network section and click on Change proxy settings.
viii. Scroll down to Security category all the way to bottom, manually check the option box for Use
Use TLS 1.2.
Note: Currently the following browsers support TLS 1.1 and 1.2:
1. Chrome - v30 supports TLS 1.2.
2. Firefox - v27 enables TLS 1.1 and 1.2 by default.
3. Internet Explorer - v11 supports TLS 1.2 from Feb 2013.
4. Opera - v17 has added support for TLS 1.2.
5. Safari - v5 on iOS and v7 on OS X have added support for up to TLS 1.2.
a) Open the Internet Browser and check the Version by clicking on the Tools (Alt+X) icon as below.

Voyager application unable to download AC/ST/AD files through SEMI-Automatic and Automatic services in
Window7 and Win 2008 server machines when TLS 1.2 enabled.
This update is provided as a Recommended update on Windows Update. For more information about how to
run Windows Update, see How to get an update through Windows Update.
Please download the appropriate Update suitable for your Operating System.
To apply this update, you must install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
There's no prerequisite to apply this update in Windows Server 2012.
Registry information
Step: 1 Copy the Patch in C:\WU path where you must have enough permission to execute the patch.

Restart the System and make sure Voyager can connect to WADS /SFG website from the Voyager
application.
Note: The registry path of Windows 7/Windows 2008 Server/Windows Server 2008 R2 for
32-bit and 64 -bit system is different with each other.
