EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The barangay, the smallest unit of government in the

Philippines, oversees a number of operations. The researchers

feel that a systematic records management system is crucial

to have to prevent issues from manual document processes

because the barangay office contains important records of its

residents. Barangay typically employs a manual file-based

system that houses various barangay data. Due to the

transaction's manual nature, challenges arise when

organizing, tracking, and monitoring transactions, which

makes it more difficult for the barangay to deliver improved

public services.

In response to the mentioned concerns, researchers were

encouraged to develop a Web-based resident record monitoring

and management system with data analytics. With barangay

personnel as its primary user, the system may store barangay

and resident data, monitor population, requested papers, and

filed reports.

The researchers used a rapid application model by which

they planned, developed, tested and reworked the prototype

when errors persisted until the system's objectives were

finally achieved.

The system was tested and evaluated by 30 respondents

with the following criteria based from ISO 25010 Software

Quality Model: functional suitability, performance

efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, and

security. All in all, the system was rated as Very Acceptable

by the users/respondents among the different criteria set.

The system has been developed to provide a Web-Based

Resident Record Monitoring and Management System with Data

Analytics to barangay for more reliable and systematic record

management. The said system application is functional,

efficient, compatible, usable, secured, and reliable for the

respondents. The evaluation results in all criteria of

ISO/IEC 25010 with the overall mean of 3.44 and has been

interpreted as effective. The system must acceptable by the

users in terms of performance, efforts, and facilitating

condition with the overall mean of 3.29 and has been

interpreted as effective also. And, the Barangay Malitbog now

have an efficient platform for their record management

wherein the admin can easily track and organize each

transaction through the system.

family for giving them the strength, endless patience,

financial support and encouragement upon fulfilling their

study.

To their classmates for being there when they needed

help and for giving them moral support. Moreover, special

thanks to the developers’ team mates who extended their time

and effort. Without them, the project would not have come to

reality.
