COMMITTEES FOR DIFFERENT SPORTS EVENTS

COMMITTEE TASK DESCRIPTION


Event Head - Submits event proposal to clientele
- Coordinates with community/focal persons
Holds meeting
- Leads the planning, execution, and evaluation of
the overall event

Secretariat - Coordinates with each of the committee heads


-Updates the event head regarding the progress
and status of each committee
Registration / Reception / Transport / - Welcomes and receives participants and guests
Accommodation of honors.
- Ensures smooth flow of registration of
participants.
- Takes charge of the arrangements for
participants' transportation and accommodation.
- Takes charge of the token of appreciation and
certificates for guests

Program - Takes charge of the closing opening


ceremonies/programs.
- Coordinates program flow with critical persons
(speakers, unique nos.)
- Takes charge of the distribution of certificates
and awards to winners and guests of honors.

Physical Arrangement - Provides and sets-up the facilities and


equipment needed by each of the committees
available

Logistics - Prepares communication letters for the


reservation of facilities and equipment
- Prepares necessary forms and other documents

Refreshment/Mess - Takes charge of the food and refreshments for


event participants

- Responsible for emergency situations in the


Medical/Emergency event
- Prevents accident/unwanted incidents
occurrence Provides first aid and other medical
assistance

Security/Discipline - Ensures safety of guests, participants, and


spectators
- Makes a plan for crowd control Controls
behavior of participants and orderliness

- Make necessary documentation and collects

receipts, etc.
