S48 WEB/SNMP Power System SHEET

FUNCTION

The S48 WEB/SNMP power supply cabinet has been specifically designed to meet the
demand for a very compact power solutions.

The S48 Power Supply cabinet is controlled by the Smartpack Monitoring and Control Unit
with built-in Ethernet & WEB/SNMP function. It is pre-equipped with 2 x battery shelves & 2
x Minipack 800 rectifier modules and can accommodate up to 6 (4,8kW). The maximum
battery capacity is 2 x 190Ah/48VDC.

Operation: - 40°C to + 55°C (-40°F to 131°F) – No temperature de-rating.
Max. output power (800W per rectifier).

+ 55°C to + 75°C (131°F to 167°F) - Output power temperature de-rated

and rectifier will finally stop in auto-protect mode

Storage: - 40°C to + 85°C (-40°F to 185°F)

Storage: 0–99 % RH non-condensing (recommended: 10-30 % RH)

Operation: 5–95 % RH non-condensing

OPERATING ALTITUDE
Up to 4000m, for altitudes between 2500m and 4000m, output power may derate at lower
ambient temperatures.

RECTIFIER COOLING
Rectifiers have a speed controlled fan (front to back airflow).
To achieve low acoustic noise and maintain rectifier lifetime, the fan regulate the speed according to
the incoming air temperature and DC power consumption. This will give the lowest possible fan
speed and lowest acoustic noise under normal load and temperature conditions.

The fan speed may therefore vary with system configuration.

A rectifier with a defect fan (no airflow) will shutdown immediately.
