COMPLIANCE OF HSE-D:

• Prepare yearly Safety Calendar for the assigned Business Unit(s) for all activities outlined in the SLA/EEA & Fire &
Safety standards.
• Propose smart safety objectives aligned with SLA criterion for devising DAPP by Manager HSE and its later
implementation at his location.
• Design and acquire approvals for training modules covering all set of designations at the respective business
unit.
• Prepare Training Need Analysis (TNA) based on risks identified during HSE-D inspections, accident occurrence,
employee interactions, observations and upon introduction of any new process.
• Ensure addressing actionable points highlighted in Departmental Safety Committee meeting till closure.
• Ensure carrying out Risk Assessment of all identified hazards in the first place along with creating an
environment where ' HIRA' - Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment is proactively carried out on all tasks being
performed by field teams in all departments in order of priority (CM, PM, Commercial).
• Ensure that TBTS are done in the true spirit & SOP and that a small sample of TBT forms receives his sign daily.
• Ensure vehicle inspection sheets are religiously filled by respective supervisors and maintains a sample check
mechanism
• Ensure that BBS Walks (Behavioral Based Safety Walks) are effectively done as per defined frequency in SLA and
manage closure of observations within stipulated time.
• Manage "Employee Engagement Session" at assigned IBC to be conducted by GM per month
(IBC/CM/PM/Centralized UGM-SSM). 100% staff need to be covered during each quarter keeping attendance
record.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT:

 Coordinate with all concerned and ensure 100% issuance of PPES/SPES and other operational tools to respective
staff
 Coordinate with Cluster/CS/DMS for ensure adequate availability of PPES/SPEs/Tools.
 Carry out necessary analysis for future budget requirement of PPES/SPES and other safety tools/equipment.

FIELD VISITS:

• Ensure behavioral based safety walk on daily basis and share its audit report with all stake holders for their
visibility
• Counter check of MTL ladders as per SOP.

RECORD KEEPING AND REPORTING:

• Ensure timely reporting of all safety hazards Cluster, HSE-D & other concerned quarters.
• Undertake corrective actions with record keeping of first aid box medicines/items with periodical inspections.
• Undertake corrective actions and intimate closure of observations received from HSE-D, CTF & others.
• Maintain complete record & ensure reporting all Accidents/Near Miss Incidents as per defined time intervals.
• Provide all requisite support to authorities in accidents/incidents investigation.
• Ensure regular reporting to all on routine tasks such as Safety Parade, Safety/Environmental Promotional activity
and Employee Engagement Session

COORDINATION:

• Coordinate with all stakeholders as deemed necessary for routine matters and for other issues that may arise
from time to time.
• Coordinate with CM and PM teams to reduce frequency of same risk.
• Coordinate with CM, PM, Commercial teams and Manager Coordination to mitigate safety risks other than
electricity.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT:

Ensure that department operates in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to
ensure the safety and well-being of staff & public.
