Future
1. Present simple: Acciones que ocurren en el horario
Affirmative: V.infintive
Negative: Don’t/Doesn’t + V.infintive
Interrogative: Do/Does + subject + V.infinitive + ?

2. Be going to: Planes futuros ya decididos, pero puedes cambiarlos

Affirmative: Subj. + to be + going to + V.infintive
Negative: Subj. + to be + not + going to + V.infintive
Interrogative: To be + Subj. + going to + V.infinitive + ?

3. Present continuous: Citas o arreglos futuros que no puedes cambiar

Affirmative: Subj. + to be + V -ing
Negative: Subj. + to be + not + V -ing
Interrogative: To be + Subj. + V-ing + ?

4. Will: Decisiones inmediatas, pronósticos… Se puede ver expresado con las

expresiones I wish, I hope, I’m sure, I think…
Affirmative: Subj. + will + V.infitive
Negative: Subj. + will + not + V.infinitive
Interrogative: Will + Subj. + V.infitive + ?

5. Future continuous: Eventos que ocurrirán en un momento determinado.

Affirmative: Subj. + will + be + V -ing
Negative: Subj. + will + not + be + V -ing
Interrogative: Will + Subj. + be + V-ing + ?

Past
1. Past simple: Es una acción que comenzó y acabó en el pasado.
Affirmative: Subj. + V.simple
Negative: Subj. + did + not + V.infintive
Interrogative: Did + Subj. + V.infinitive

2. Present perfect: Hablamos de present perfecto cuando la acción empezó en el

pasado, pero sigue en el presente (normalmente se ve con las expresiones since, for,
already, ever/never, just, yet)
Affirmative: Subj. + Have/Has + V.participle
Negative: Subj. + Have/Has + not + V.participle
Interrogative: Have/Has+ Subj. + V.participle + ?
 3. Past perfect: Es el pasado del pasado, o sea que el past perfect ocurrió antes que otra
acción. La acción más reciente puede ser Past Simple o Continuous.
Affirmative: Subj. + Had + V. participle
Negative: Subj. + Had + not + V.participle
Interrogative: Had + Subj. + V.participle + ?

4. Used to: Se utiliza para indicar algo que solías hacer en el pasado, pero ahora en el
presente ya no lo haces.
Affirmative: Subj. + used to + V.infintive
Negative: Subj. + did+ not + use to + V.infinitive
Interrogative: Did + Subj. + use to + V.infinitive

5. Past continuous: Es un acción incompleta, o sea que mientras habla la situación aún
no habría terminado.
Affirmative: Subj. + to be (was/were) + V -ing
Negative: Subj. + to be + not (wasn’t/weren’t)+ V -ing
Interrogative: To be (was/were)+ Subj. + V-ing
