“Is, am and are” are simple present forms of the verb -to be. They are used to describe
the state, feeling or condition that something or someone is in.
“Is, am y are” son formas en presente simple del verbo to be. Ellos son utilizados para
describir estados, sentimientos o condiciones en las que algo o alguien se encuentra.
Verb “To be” has 3 different forms: Affirmative, Negative and Interrogative.
Note: The Affirmative and Negative forms can be in a FULL form or a SHORT form.
Nota: Las formas Afirmativa y Negativa pueden estar en forma COMPLETA o en forma
CORTA.
Full and Short forms:
Affirmative Negative
I am / I´m I am not / I´m not
You are / You´re You are not / You aren´t
