It was shown in the story how Dodong was blinded by love at an early age. He just pursued
anything that he wanted though he knew that it was not the right thing to do. But he could not
help himself, he was very hesitant at that time to marry the girl whom he loved.

6. Do you sympathize with Teang? Why or why not?

I do not sympathize with Teang, because Young people like us will not be able to build essential
skills and competencies and be able to feel safe, cared for, valued and useful unless our
family and community provide us with the support and opportunities we need along the way.
This is the only moment in our lives that we can freely do anything that we like to do without
any serious circumstances and limitations unlike those of adults.

which is hard.

THE IGNORANCE OF YOUTH, FEAR AND INACTION,THE PHASES OF LIFE.

9. What is the message of the story?

Yes, it is a nature of every human being to fall in love but you should not let it control
and dominate your whole system. Don’t get blinded by love, don’t give too much and
enough is enough. You should leave even a little for yourself, for your family and for
God.
