What resources do you have available for
those struggling with mental health?

We will have a bulletin board listing the
various resources on campus in the
garden. We will also feature different
resources on our social media
platforms.

Where will the study garden be located?

We are looking at the land around
Reaves Park just south of campus, or
the land right behind the Sam Noble
Museum on Chautauqua.

Can anybody in Norman use the garden or
just OU students?

The gardens will be open to the

the overall Norman community.

Will this study garden be completely quiet
like the great reading room?

Since this is an outdoor space, this area

cannot be monitored in relation to
volume levels unless one becomes
disruptive to the environment.

How will it be accessible for all people?

The university buses will have a stop to
get students to and from the gardens.
There will also be accessible trails and
entrances throughout the space.

What are the hours for the study garden?

The gardens will have the same hours
as the university library.
S, M, T, W, R, F: 7:30 AM - 12 AM
Saturday: 9 AM - 9 PM

How to you plan to keep the garden lively
and in shape during the winter?

Our current idea is to decorate it for
the winter holidays.

How will it be funded?

A
We would work with student
organizations such as OUr Mental
Health, OU Botanical Society and other
OUr Earth to fundraise. We will also be
asking for cash and in-kind donations.

Who will be in charge of landscaping this
study garden and finding the most
beneficial plants?

To keep the university campus as
involved as possible we would allow
OU's Botanical Society and any other
Botany students to help in making
these decisions.
