1. Executive Summary
The annual report contains the organization achievements and highlights for 2021 to 2022. 50% of the
system has become more in-play and 5 new projects in process 3 of them went through the
implementation phase and 2 of it under process. More than 520 volunteers become part of the
organization database.

2. Organization Overview:
Life makers Sudan is a non-profit NGO specialized in the field of education and focus in-depth in
improve the quality of the education in Sudan by being an advisory platform to support education we
operate mainly in Khartoum. In addition to this we focus on the development of the field of education
in Sudan and the position of youth in Sudan as key participants in achieving Sustainable development
goals in Sudan, and that brings the target and beneficiaries together to exchange skills, knowledge,
innovation and learning to build a more integrated country

To be the most influential platform in support of students and workers to build a social impact of
education by awareness, raising capabilities, connecting actors in the field of education and launching
initiatives.

1. Orsoom project:
1. Background:

The “Draw Your Future” project is considered one of the most important projects of the organization,
which aims to guide students and make them aware of the different fields and specializations, their
importance and their role in influencing the process of building society in particular and the modern
state in general, through a systematic and gradual process from increasing the student’s self-awareness
to detailing the different fields and their importance and awareness of it.

2. Objectives:

1. Increase the student's awareness about his or her personality


2. Guiding students with different study options at the undergraduate levels.
3. Educating parents about their role in encouraging their children to choose a specialty according
to their desires and abilities
4. Increasing awareness of future jobs that serve the country's competitiveness
5. Awareness of the importance of the role and societal impact of different disciplines and their
contribution to the renaissance
6. Introducing and raising awareness of 21st century skills among young people

7. Directing undergraduate and postgraduate students to bridge the gap between study and the
labor market
8. Creating partnerships and channels of communication between stakeholders to support
education in Sudan
9. Creating periodic activities for the project in universities and schools

3. Outcomes:

• More than 12 partnerships were held.


• The event was canceled.

4. Future:

1. We are working on the digital transformation of the project.

4. Transforming the project to social Enterprise project

2. MIC program:
1. Background:

It's an online based livestreaming program work mainly on the discussion of the educational issues in
Sudan and the trends on the education with experts in the related fields to show the case, give
solutions, and increase awareness about certain issues in the field of education.

2. Objectives:

1. Increase the public awareness about the educational issues in Sudan and worldwide
2. Finding solution for the most recent problem in the education in Sudan
3. Show the latest trends in the field of education.
4. Sharing knowledge and experience of the experts in the fields to existing practice.
5. Provide reliable sources for the information related to education.

4. Outcomes:

• Team of four members had been established.

• The program will be transformed to podcasts and there will be professional video production.

3. Monthly symposium:
1. Background:

A forum held once a month based on the idea of discussing issues related to education, locally and
globally, through which it presents a set of issues, challenges and solutions to education problems in
Sudan. It also presents and presents successful experiences of projects and ideas that contribute to the
development of realistic solutions, whether they are From Sudan or from different countries. The forum
depends on my proposal

2. Objectives:

1. Provide a platform to discuss learning issues in Sudan.


2. Spreading interest in education issues and its quality.
3. Achieving the fourth goal of the sustainable development goals "improving the quality of
education" by focusing on discussing its indicators and providing solutions to achieve it
commensurate with the reality of Sudan.
4. Documenting experiences and expertise that contributed to developing solutions for education.

• Two symposiums have been held.


• More than 440 beneficiaries.
• Six Partnerships (Omdorman cultural center – Alwesam Media and production – Debonairs
Pizza - AERIF MAJALIK organization – learn initiative - VMC organization – cofftee tea and
coffee).

5. Future:

1. Sustainable fund.

2. Media coverage.

3. More partnership with Decision makers and governmental stakeholders to implement the
recommendations.

4. How to make the session more interactive to the community.

4. Life skills project:


1. Background:

The life skills package provides youth with new knowledge and the opportunity to apply novel skills in a
safe environment. This package aims to shape youth’s attitudes and beliefs in a positive manner so that
they contribute to Sudanese society by making productive life choices, manage their emotional
wellbeing, and achieve personal success as they transition to adulthood, and, eventually, the work
world.

2. Objectives:

1. Provides youth with new knowledge and the opportunity to apply novel skills in a safe
environment.
2. shape youth’s attitudes and beliefs in a positive manner so that they contribute to Sudanese
society by making productive life choices, manage their emotional wellbeing, and achieve
personal success as they transition to adulthood, and, eventually, the work world.
3. Accelerate the process of the awareness for the fresh undergraduate student so they can be
able to be part of the active society.

5. Makers Blog project:


1. Background:

“Education Makers Blog” is an electronic blog that seeks to advance education by encouraging
intellectual creativity, developing educational technologies and employing modern technology, by
publishing the latest news and developments in education in the world, in addition to articles and ideas
of specialists, experts and amateurs in this field. It also works to attract the interest of teachers and
those interested and motivate them to blog in the field of education to publish their own ideas and
experiences. The blog translates the most important articles, experiences and news on specialized
foreign websites.

2. Objectives:
1. Contribute to the enrichment and improvement of the Sudanese content in the field of education
and its technologies.
2. Contribute to enriching the Sudanese space in the field of integrating modern technology in
education.
3. Spreading the culture of blogging among those interested in education in Sudan and the Arab
world.
4. Introducing the most important programs, sites and tools that support education.
5. Spreading the culture of educational technologies and awareness of the importance of e-learning
among all.
6. Training and qualifying students and teachers on the optimal and proper use of technical tools and
means.
7. Encouraging scientific research and extensive reading in the field of education.
8. Develop the level of sharing of technical and educational experiences among educators.
9. Helping intellectual creativity in the development of education.

• We do have more than 390 new members in our database.
• More than 36 active members:
1. Mic program: 4-member team
2. Symposium: 16-member team.
3. Media: 13-member team.
4. Training: 3 members team.

10. Challenges:
1. the very turnover and instability of the volunteers
2. the fund and the financial income of the organization.
3. There is no suitable venue for the organization
4. The registration and the renewal of the licenses

11. Recommendations:
A. Governance and organization system:
• Working on project-based strategy in which there will be a team for any project in addition
to the basic team like (Media - public relations - etc.).
• making clear job description of the executive and the different offices
B. strategies:
• Having a clear plan and objective which can produce our KPI is very important.
• As a recommendation our next strategy will be based on the wide spreading and having
more interactive youth-based projects.
C. Fundraising:
The financial aspect represents the cornerstone for our work so far there is obvious instability
in this aspect we need to enforce our resources and our income.

Suggestions:

• Project-based Fund and sponsorship opportunities.


• Build social enterprise aspect in our projects:
o Orsoom:
• Digital transformation will help to make the project a source of income like '
membership fee for the customers – in app advertising.
• Opportunities for sponsorships.
o MIC:
• Recorded professional podcasts provide opportunities for fund and
sponsorship.
• In-episodes advertising.
