Water Supply Proposal For Ward -37

Estimation of water:
• Total buildup area of ward-37 = 0.176 sq.km
= 176,000 Sq.m
• Annual rainfall in Patna = 1000mm
• Total water collected in one year = 176,000,000 L
Taking 20% off for loses of water = 35,200,000 L
• total remaining water is =140,400,000 L

• Total consumption of water in one year

= 14317*100*365 = 522,570,500 L
Total water consumption/year Total water collected/year
=522,570,500 L = 140,400,000

• Saving of water = 140.8/522.57 *100 = 27%

• For example: Daily consumption electricity for distribution of

water = 10 hour.
• 1 HP = 746W = 69 units
• Total consumption of electricity in one year = 69*10*365 =
25,185,000 units
• Cost of bill = 25,185,000*6.5 = 16,37,000/-

• Saving money = 16,37,000* 0.27 = 4,41,990/-
