10- 12 Months

Make up your mind: Gather all information about the country, estimated course fee, and living
expenses to understand your budget.

Setup budget.

Student: Start in the last year of your current course.

Working Professional: Plan when to quit your current job keeping in mind the current notice
period.

8-10 Months

What is your area of interest?

Research colleges/universities o ering the course?

Shortlist a few and make note of minimum eligibility, application deadline, documents
required, application fee(if any).

Prepare for English pro ciency test: IELTS, TOEFL.

6-7 Months

Gather documents required for each shortlisted college/university. Sharing list of documents I
have arranged:

• Bachelor’s mark sheet

• Personal Resume

• Statement of Purpose(SOP)

• Two Letter of Recommendation ( academic/professional)

• Transcripts

• School Certi cates.

• Write English pro ciency test.

Apply to shortlisted institutions.

Check for an international Scholarship.

4-6 Months

Make a decision on your application.

Pay the minimum college fees required to apply for a visa application.

Send an email to the institution to check on any scholarship you might have missed.

3-4 Months

Sort nances.

Apply for a loan (if applicable).

2-3 Months

Prepare for Visa Application. Sharing the list of minimum document requirement for Visa

Please note: This is from my own experience, document requirements may vary.
• All Academic Documents: High School, degree.

• Financial Support Documents: All the documents repressing how your fees will be paid and
one year living expenses. This includes bank statement, loan details, any Fixed Deposits,
etc.

• Sponsorship Documents: Any a davit to support your relationship with the person
sponsoring your education.

• Employment Document (if any): If you have worked ever before, show experience letter,
payslip, letter of employment, resume.

• Fill online/o ine Visa form.

• Visa SOP(Statement of Purpose).

• Visa Cover Letter.

1-2 Months

Prepare for your Departure.

Book Tickets as soon as you receive the message for Visa approval. Make sure to book your
ticket under student section for extra luggage.

Make a list of stu to carry.

Spend time with friends, family and don’t miss eating your favorites
