Any stop buttons must be “out” in the system must not be activated.
Flocculation Tank fluid level must be below the High Level Probe
Circuit breakers and fuses in the control panel must not be tripped
or blown.
Unit will not start in Auto Rectify any conditions not met
VFDs must not be faulted
Polymer preparation system must have sufficient water pressure
(>20psi)
There must be polymer supply to the polymer preparation system.
Check feed pump drive is on and not faulted Reset Feed Drive.
No Sludge Entering Unit Check feed pump is rotating If not, Repair Pump
Check that flocculation is good Increase polymer dose to improve floc strength
Poor filtrate quality
Check not too many solids are being squeezed out of the thickening
Open up end plate or lower feed rate.
