Introduction
I would like to thank you, for choosing to purchase this pattern. I hope that you will be fully satisfied
with it and, above all, that the effect of your work will be exactly as you imagined. Remember that if
you have any questions you can email me: krawka.blog@gmail.com.

I have made this baby raptor for my 6-year-old son, who is a big LEGO Jurassic World fan. He was
very specific in his expectations – the Raptor was suppose to be cute, but deadly and very realistic.
I added pipe cleaner skeleton so he can move his legs, arms, tail and head – so it’s more an action
figure than the plush, but if you are making this for a smaller child, under 3, I recommend that you
skip wiring and make a plushy instead.

Baby raptor is around 22 cm (8.6 inches), when standing.

Materials
List of all the materials you will need for this project:

 yarn ( I use 55% cotton yarn which measures 174 yards (159 meters) for 50 g, weight Sport /
5 ply (12 wpi), Gauge 24 to 30 st is 4 inches (10 cm)
You can use any colors you like , but here is the list of colors I used:

o light brown (slightly orange) – base color

o beige – belly
o dark brown – stripes on the back, claws
o white – eyes and light reflections in the eyes
o neon green – irises
o black - pupils

If you want to know more about the yarns or colors I chose, send me an email.

 3,0 mm (D) hook,

 cotton wool or other stuffing
 pipe cleaners (at least 18) – if you decide to make your raptor moveable like I did, use the
pipe cleaners, I think they work great and are much safer than the other choices. If you
decide you will make if without wiring stuff each part just a little bit more than I did.
 needle, thread, pins, scissors, etc.

We will use pair of pipe cleaners twined together.

Prepare at least 9 of those pairs now

Prepare the first wire (pair) for the upper snout, see
the photo for reference on how to bend it.

Place the wire in the snout and stuff the rest
