INTRODUCTION INTELLECTUAL REVOLUTION
is the time period when advancements os Science
and Technology changed people's perception and
beliefs.

IMPORTANCE OF INTELLECTUAL REVOLUTION

1.Led the creation of new research fields in science.
2.transformwd the natural world of world ideas.

THINGS THAT DRIVES THE SCIENTIST IN ALL

PERIODS OF TIME
1.Creativity
2.Curiosity
3.Critical Thinking
NICOLAUS COPERNICUS(1473-1553)
Astronomer,Mathematician and cathedral cannon
●Proposed the Heliocentric theory
●On the Revolutions of "Cathedral Spheres"
●Use Geometry to prove the Heliocentric theory
●The father of Modern Astronomy
●Heliocentric-the Sun is the center of the
universe
●Geocenteic-the Earsth is the center of the
Universe

COPERNICUN REVOLUTION
This is caused the paradigm shift of how the
earth and sun were place in the universe. It is the
idea that rejected Ptolemic Model(the earth is
the center pf the universe)and prove that the
heliocenteic model(the sun is the center of the
solar system having the earth revolving around
it. )
CHARLES DARWIN
●Proposed that species can change over
time
●New species come from pre existing
species and that all species shares
common ancestor
● Each Species has it own unique set of
heritable(genetic)differences from
common ancestors
● repeated branching events in which new
species split off from a common ancestor
produce a multi-level tree that links all
living organisms.
MECHANISM FOR EVOLUTION
NATURAL SELECTION
-it explained how population evolve in such a way that they become better
suited to their environment over time.

DARWIN'S BOOK
1."THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES"
-it presented on how species evolveover time and presented the traits and adaption
that differenciate species

2.THE DESCENT OF MAN

-it is about the idea of all organic life, including human beings, under the realms of
plants evolutionary thingking

DARWINIAN REVOLUTION
This has brought a great impact on how people approach biology. This
revolution provided a different that the theory of creation. The Darwinian
revolution started when Charles Darwin published this book "The origin
of Species"that emphasizes that humans are the results of an evolution.
SIGMUND FREUD(1856-1939)
●Father of Phsycoanalysis
●Autrian Neurologist and Psychiatrist
●Famous figure in the field of psychology
●His focus ia about the human sexuallityand the
evil nature of man

FRUEDIAN REVOLUTION
This theory has started to revolutionize Psychiatry with

Sigmund Freud. This includes the "Freudian Theory of

Personality"that involves thw human development to
his/her personality and also his "psychoanalysis"that is the
process for achieving proper functioning if human does not
complete his/her developmental stage.
CRADLES OF EARLY SCIENCE

down into the valley of Curzio In southeastern Peru

study more of it
