The Human Brain

By Santiago Gonzalez Peña

The brain is the part of the body where decisions are reached and where
bodily activities are directed and coordinated. Located inside the skull,
the brain sits in a liquid bath called cerebrospinal fluid, which protects
and cushions it. But how does it works?

WHAT IS THE BRAIN'S COMPOSITION?
The brain is composed by many parts, firstly it stores between a hundred and two hundreds of
neurons inside it. It also is made of other cells, called glial cells. These cells support the neurons by
supplying nutrients, aiding in the reparation of the brain after certain injuries and attacking invading
bacteria. There are ten times more glial cells in the brain than neurons in it. mainly, the brain is
divided into many important anatomical regions, where is the cerebrum, thalamus, hypothalamus,
cerebellum, and brain stem.
