PLEASE NOTE: It is essential that applicants for Core residency have experience living and working in downtown eastside.

Financial Information Core will pre-qualify applicants with respect to financial need using the following criteria; Applicants with gross taxable annual household income from all sources of $14,999 or less will be considered as low-income artists. Applicants with gross taxable annual household income from all sources of $15,000 to $25,000 will be considered as moderate income artists.

All supporting financial documentation will be considered confidential and available only to PIPA and financial officers.

Use of Premises As the studio is located in an industrial area, artists using toxic or hazardous materials or processes, or requiring the use of amplified sound will be given priority. (For example: carvers, sculptors, painters and some musicians generally need industrial space. Actors and writers generally do not.)
