1. How can learning theory be used to change behaviors?

- Since the aim of learning theory is to understand objectively how people learn
and then develop teaching approaches accordingly, I think it can be used to
change behavior.

2. Define classical conditioning, and differentiate it from operant conditioning?

- A theory of learning advocated by behaviorists is classical conditioning. It
suggests that if an environmental stimulus is repeatedly paired with a naturally
occurring stimulus, eventually the environmental stimulus will elicit a similar
response to the naturally occurring stimulus. While operant conditioning, also
known as instrumental learning, determines whether an action will be repeated
as a result of reward or punishment.

3. What is social learning theory?

- Albert Bandura's social learning theory places a strong emphasis on the value of
observing, modeling, and copying other people's behaviors, attitudes, and
emotional responses.
